iOS to Android
Hi folks
Just ordered a new Nexus 4 after giving up on my iPhone 4. Thought transferring Contacts would be a piece of the proverbial after doing it on iTunes previously. Now I realise they've removed the option from iTunes to do this! After some Googling I've tried turning off iCloud (no joy) and created a new CardDAV account but when I log into Gmail the Contacts haven't updated. Now a bit out of my depth and worried I won't be able to transfer my Contacts over! Any suggestions please? Cheers |

Cheers for that. Panic over! Google need to work on their "find duplicates and merge" system though. I have some contacts duplicated three times despite it saying "Yay! You have no duplicates." Hmm...

There's a free app you can get called Easy Phone Sync that will allow you to sync most of your iTunes content to you Android handset/device - contacts, photos, songs even some videos.
There's two parts, an app you need on the handset and a piece of software you need on your PC. Both are free though. |
