For people who may be interested, Vodafone is launching five new windows phone 8 devices on the 6th of this month.

the same date I can upgrade, but a windows based phone is not on my short-list to be honest.

The list of phones would of been nicer

The Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and 620, as well as the Windows Phone 8X and 8S by HTC, make up our new Windows Phone 8 army, and they’ll all be available to buy from Wednesday, 6th February.

I've been tempted by the 920 for q while, if vodafone offer it on 12 months I might go back to them.

But not sure how I would cope now having got used to using over 12Gb a month of data on three

It does yes. Its a bit crap though. It seemed pretty cluttered when i last used it on my iPhone. I just used Apple Mail instead.

No Spotify yet, but for Google music there's CloudMusik, which apparently works very well.

As for gMail, Google threatened to withdraw support for new Exchange ActiveSync connections on Jan 31, although existing connections will still work. This has now been extended to July 31st, meanwhile Microsoft are working on adding support for the open CardDAV and CalDAV standards for contact and calendar sync. Email will still work through IMAP.

I thought something must have changed because I set up my Google account in a W8 mail app just a few hours ago and it worked fine, including contacts.
