My girlfriend had a iPhone and used I message to text her brother when she had a iPhone since she has upgraded to a galaxy note 2 she no longer receives texts from her brother although he says he has replied...

I'm sure I remember seeing a thread on.this a while back but I can't find it now, any advice?

The messages are probably still going to the iPhone. Does she still have it? If not, did she wipe it before passing it on?

Does her brother have an iPhone? Perhaps Apple's servers still think her number is used with an iPhone and is causing any messages to her to be sent as iMessages and not SMS.

If she can still put her SIM into an iPhone it may be worth doing that and turning off iMessages, then put it back in the other phone.

Disabling I message fixed it cheers!

This bugger caught me out too. iMessage didn't even add to the experience!!!!
