I can't stand Tyrone!
I sympathise with him because Kirsty is such an evil horror with zero redeeming qualities, but Tyrone is such a fat-headed moron.
He was a complete moron with Molly as well and I just find him uncomfortable to watch at times. Real people are not as stupid as Tyrone so why write him like this? |

Just to drag the storyline out. Like why would Tyrone stash a secret phone with pictures of his beatings and (really) detailed texts about an affair with Fiz knowing Kirsty could find it, which of course she did in the end. Or sneak of to have an affair with Fiz, despite being terrified of Kirsty and the fact she is paranoid and always on the look out.
The writers just need to bury this storyline, I know they want to be dramatic but writing the characters to be that stupid is really annoying to watch. |

I agree they do seem to be dragging this storyline out plus I can't stand that Kirsty character

Tyrone & Fiz don't have a functioning brain cell between them.

It's quite a bad result for Corrie when a lot of people aren't sympathising with Tyrone
![]() Throwing in the affair with Fiz is what's killed the whole thing. There really wasn't any need for it. Now the entire SL just seems to be going off into bizarro world when it could've been really compelling. |

Ty/Fiz seem more like friends than lovers. The secret phone and the affair butchered this s/l beyond return. Time to end it asap.
One couple in the US recently rubbed heroin in their baby's gums thinking it would heal their teething and the baby died. So there are people more stupid than Ty. |

In the end - no-one else to blame but himself.
Quickly became obvious that Kirsty was completely barking... ![]() Then we end up with the coppers nail the wrong person tedium.

This was actually a brilliant storyline pre-affair, in my opinion. I seem to recall it had quite a few fans on here as well. Then all this Fiz crap started and now its just ludicrous.

That's the problem. It was a great storyline with good acting from Kirsty and Tyrone . It's now beyond tedium. There's zero chemistry between Fiz and Tyrone and the way they've behaved throughout the whole saga is so monumentally stupid that you can't help losing all the sympathy that you may have had for him.

Prehaps EE can learn from Corrie's cock up and do this s/l justice in the near future.

And if Tirrone hadn't been such a sandwich short of a picnic he would have made sure that Kirsty had proper medical help, and the writers would have NOT gone down this silly spiralling downward storyline, if you can call it that, of him and Fizzy. Natalie's acting is so good that I felt sorry for Kirsty this evening. |

Tyrone's a good lad, but he needs a break from all the misery he's had to put up with. I do feel though, the writers have deliberately taken away any real layers of backbone he had mentally with the desire to put up more of a fight and be able to withstand resistance to some extent because of the domestic abuse he was subjected too by Kirsty.
He's become a lot more fragile overall, and as I say, the lad could really do with a break from the screens. |

I've always thought he was reasonably ok if not a bit challenged but have really got so fed up of him, he does nothing but shout and bawl all the time. I agree that the storyline just lost all credibility when he hooked up with Fizz. Thing is Kirsty is a clever woman and tbh would she have ever been with Tyrnone? He would drive most women crazy - though no need at all for the physical assaults. What good is it going to do if he does plead guilty, that would be a great reason for Kirsty not to let him see our Rubeh? A convicted thug who has admitted to beating up his wife.

I am starting to get fed up of Tyrone now. As others have pointed out, he's in this mess because of his own stupidity. He should have gone to the police months back about Kirsty abusing him. He had the bruises, he had pictures and he had the likes of Tommy, Tina and Fiz to back up what a headcase Kirsty is. It's hard to feel for someone who has behaved so moronically at every turn.

The other annoying thing about the storyline is that even his own solicitor thinks he's guilty and is giving him bad advice. I mean, what good is it going to do him to plead guilty?

I would of preferred seeing the story progress without the typical sensationalised affair element of it. Should of kept it pure. Had Fiz realising shes falling in love with Tyrone and having Tyrone lean on her as a friend and not realising his worth.
The affairs devalued the story. Wish Tommy was more involved in the aftermath. Its either Tina or Fiz at the minute...where are Tommy and Kevin? Much more natural interaction. |
