Which mobile phone?

I am due to upgrade in 7 weeks and was looking for some advice on the best phone.

I have been using BB for last 18 months and while I have had no problems hasn't left me wanting to get another one.

I like the Galaxy S3 and have messed a bit with it in the shops but just wondered what it was like day to day as heard some negative reviews which you will get for any device generally.

Had 1 windows phone which was a disaster but do like the new Nokia Lumia and it is available on Vodafone in 2 days, is the new Windows mobile OS a big improvement.

Any information appreciated from people who use the phones day to day.

Thanks

MWC takes place at the end of the month, you can expect a new wave of handsets to be announced then.
No point making a decision before then IMO.

Yeah, I saw this the other day. Looks very very impressive.
Love the water resistance. I think it can actually be submersed for a short period.

Yes that's right. It can be submersed for up to 30 minutes. I know some people who have accidentally dropped their phone in water (me included) so it's a useful thing to have. The build quality looks incredible and the specs are really good.

I dont want to hijack the thread but im in a similar position, i have been using the I Phone 4 for the last 18 months and am due an upgrade in the next couple of weeks, i love my I Phone and to be honest am very tempted to stick with it and just reduce my line rental.

I have played around with the Galaxy 3 and personally do not like it, does anyone know when the next I Phone will be out and will it be a massive improvement over my 4 (mates have told me their i phone 5 is not that much better)

The LG Nexus 4

Failing that I would get a Samsung Galaxy S3.

Nexus 4 - with Google Music and the free 50gb storage offer from box.com that comes with this phone it may be fine to just get the 8gb one at £239. Incredible bargain for what you are getting. Almost £300 cheaper than the 16gb iPhone 5. Or in other words you can get the Nexus 4 8Gb and the amazing Nexus 10 tablet for just £30 more than you would pay for the iPhone 5. Crazy.

Thanks for the replies.

Had thought about the Nexus 4 as great value and good phone. Vodafone dont stock so will need to go with Phones 4u or someone else.

Not sure about the Sony, it loooks great but my friend had other model and didnt like it which kind of sticks in my mind.

Will see what new phones are announced at MWC and then decide.

Cheers again

Thanks for the replies.

Had thought about Nexus 4 but Vodafone dont stock so will have to switch to Phones 4u or someone like that.

Like the look of the Sony but not sure as my friend had previous model and had quite a few issues so kind of put me off.

Will wait and see after MWC and see what new handsets are announced.

Cheers again.
