does anyone know if there is a app out there that will make phone run like new without doing a factory reset.because mine seems to a bit laggy now

Would actually help a lot if you told people what kind of phone you have got.

If you have to ask why then I don't think anyone is going to tell you.

Have you tried fully powering the phone off and then back on again. You might find that will free things up a bit if it's laggy because of running processes.

If it works, get in the habit of doing it every couple of days.

If it's like othe Samsung Galaxy phones theres a simple memory management system already built in. Just hold down your home button for a few seconds and you'll have app and memory management. Press the dust-bin to kill all open apps, and press the memory sign to enter memory management and then just clear memory. It's quick and efficient and does work.
