As the title suggests, does anyone have any idea when the release date for this phone will be for the UK on o2.

My contract is up at the start of March 2005, and I'm desperate to change from my Samsung D410......(disliked it the moment I got it)

My friend has the Motorola V3 which I'm tempted with, however having read reviews and seen pictures of the Panasonic X700, this may be worth holding out for.

Anyone any ideas with this date ?

It was due in Autumn 2004 - but due to 3g commitments it looks as if Panasonic have delayed it (yet again - originally due mid 2004)

Hi i work for orange cs it was due to come out in december but panasonic stoped it there now bringing it out on orange in may 2005

just fin work the phones comeing out this jan on orange

The X700 is out now on Vodafone and O2.

Phones 4U are the only retailer currently selling the X700. Cheapest option online is £50.00 with a contract with either Vodafone or O2. I went into their store and they were willing to let me take the phone for free with either a new contract or if I ported my number from Orange.

Orange tell me they will have the phone within next 3 to 4 weeks so I am hanging on for them.
