Wow, OK, can't believe I haven't been on since this morning and came back to all this

I must say, the thing that really blew me away and sent my heart plummeting to my stomach was the shaving of the 'tache For him to have entered Lime this morning with it, only to leave tonight without it is really making a statement- and that statement was far more gutting than words could ever say. It honestly feels like a close friend has moved away and I'm never going to see them again. Of course Emmett will move on to pastures new, but losing Brendan Brady is such a shock to the system and I honestly don't think (no matter how amazing Emmett is) I will connect with another character he might play in the same way. In fact I'll probably just end up going back to my life before Brendan was in it and forget to follow the latest goings on of Emmett which is something I also find particularly sad, no matter how likely.

We've all went through all the ups and downs with Brendan, connected to his character in a big way and now that Emmett has stopped filming the future is now set in stone. They have filmed the end of Brendan, and even though we still have him on air until March (a day where I will probably go into my room and sob once the show has been aired) it still feels a tiny bit tainted considering we know that the end has been set in cast iron.

I really didn't want this roller-coaster to end but at least we knew it was coming and prepared ourselves. Now let's ride the last part of this train off the f**king tracks

I'm conflicted about what I'd want his exit to be. I'll just accept whatever they give us, we don't have much of a choice anyway sadly.

I know what you mean. Normally I am actually quite good with actors leaving and would only be upset when the storyline ends, but with Emmett I feel like half the sadness comes from liking Emmett as a person as well. He kind of was Brendan Brady, he encapsulated his looks and essence with the moustache and swagger, but when he shaved the 'tache it really was like stripping it all down and now it's like he is Emmett Scanlan. With the 'tache there was always the aura of Brendan, but without it it really is the end. He's taken off the mask and it's not going to go back on again

We've got to remember that we've still got Brendan until sometime next month. And he'll be having sex with Ste on Friday and making awkward explanations to Leah.

I know, I'll still enjoy the last bits we have, it's just sad that a line has been drawn under it tonight By tomorrow I'll probably be adjusted to the news. Just so shocked he shaved off the tache on the same night! Didn't think he'd do it until tomorrow at least!

So, OT, but in the program I watch where my favourite died, there was this thing with this guy who helped the best friend of my favourite that died get her memories back from an accident she was in, and he gave her this task and she ended up with an anagram, and she had to work out what it said.

And the first words her best friend (my favourite who died) ever said to her was, "You're gonna be fine," and so she went to visit his grave, put some flowers down, sat in the car and decided to work out the anagram, and the anagram made the words, "You're gonna be fine"

And I decided that I need Hollyoaks to have this happen somehow for Ste with Brendan, only not his first words because I'm not sure they were pleasant.

I want everything to look completely hopeless, probably including his apparent death, the funeral everything happens, then we see Ste going to meet someone.......

Now I need to know what their first words were.

Well, Brendan insulted his food.

And I just looked at what I think was their first time meeting, and Brendan said, "These look rubbish to me".

So not all that emotional, really.
