Just picked up an Asus VivoTab Smart as from the research I've done it had the most impressive spec in its price range.

However, I'm having problems with the display which has developed a life of its own.

You can see it activating multiple "touches" in the bottom left hand side of the screen, rendering the keyboard almost impossible to use and inadvertently selecting tiles (its Windows 8). Nothing is within miles of the screen which is clean.

The problem is that its intermittent.

Has anybody experienced anything similar to this and is it likely to be a software or hardware problem ? I have already update all possible features.

It looks nice with full Windows 8. But as it's new, I would suspect a faulty unit, and contact seller.
