Findus have withdrawn the sale of their Lasagnes and warned people not to eat them, as traces of horsemeat were found in there products.

I was about to state the same! Thankfully never eaten their lasagne or a buyer of their brand or cheap 'beef' burgers either.

The French horseburger manufacturer Whoathereneddy has ceased trading since beef was found in its products.

Suggestions that it's fraud. Meat from knackered old horses is probably a Iot cheaper than decent bit of beef. We used to worry about scrag ends of leftovers and fat in our burgers and mince. Now we wonder if we're eting the right animal. How long before human rump turns up?!!

Gonna be sick. I've had Findus bolognese and crispy pancakes before. Probably full of horse meat and chemicals.

Hmm... there's already a proliferation of 'arse-end' predominantly frozen-food retailers out there...

The chemicals could be the real issue. You don't need much to be affected.

Question - As it seems Findus were putting horsemeat in their lasagnas, can they be done for breaking the Trade Descriptions Act?

Horse, cow or whatever, it is still quite tasty and sold at a reasonable price.

Probably!! The brand must be finished now. Who's going to buy any of their stuff any more?! Another unexpected story for 2013.
