Network connecting me to wrong person
Is it technically possible for a mobile phone network to connect me to the wrong person? I called my friend using the contact details on my iPhone that I always use. Except this time I got connected to a random man. He called out his phone number and it wasn't the one I dialled or in this case, tapped on. He told me he had got text messages from me this morning that I had sent to my friend.
My friend hasn't changed their phone number. I checked using my landline and it worked fine. Nothing had changed so I can only assume it was a network glitch but I would have thought something like this couldn't happen! It's working fine now and I didn't change anything. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks! |

Which Network and yes this has happened before. Call your network, report it.

Vodafone for me and based on their phone number they are on Three. I didn't ask where they were but they sounded local to me
