i think it's a good idea to have a sticky thread for each of the networks with regards to free sims.

I think o2 just give out free sims when they make too many - Vodafone/T-Mobile do it when it looks as if their running out of customers!

i agree as i was on vodafone and now i have got o2 and tesco
the best networks avaliable
they are way too expensive too

o2 rule...

i see what you mean, but I'm not suprised they are losing customers... The call charges for Vodafone are extorcionate!

I was thinking of Three, mainly for the fact of thier call charges are cheaper, then I realised they aren't when on a 2.5G network, i.e most of the time

Vodafone are.

The best place to check for free sim card offers is the 'O2 Free SIMS' thread, I know the title says O2, but most free SIM offers from all the networks seem to appear there first.

but Vodafone aren't losing customers.

From what i can gather, vodafone is expensive for pay as you talk and cheap for contract.

i have got the free o2 genie sim cards recently. Does anyone know when they'll come as all my friends are looking to buy them. I dont like selling things to my friends but then again i could get a profit. i say £2.50 is reasonable since they would cost a tenner normally

GPRS is FREE (on some networks) on the networks wapsite like Virgin Mobile bites page or some people get a monthly allowance of 1MB if they are on O2 online PAYG. Some people i know still get free CSD wap on O2 P&G.

Orders placed before after the 24th Dec & before 3rd Jan didn't get processed until 4th Jan, so hopefully they should arrive sometime this week (if the 10 day thing on their website is correct & depending on Royal Mail deciding they want to deliver it ).

Vodafone's GPRS charges are as follows

Vodafone Live! pages 0.1p per KB
Non Vodafone Live! pages 0.73p per KB
