Hi there, I wonder if one of you good people would be able to solve a mystery for me please.

A couple of weeks ago I had a major laptop crash and had to restore factory settings. Since then I have had a problem with copy and paste.

Now I run a racing tipping comp here on DS and usually I post the racecards from Racing Post through copy and paste. They looked like this

NO. FORM HORSE AGE WGT TRAINER RTF% JOCKEY OR TS RPR
1 9-5112 Petit Robin 49 10 11-12 Nicky Henderson50 Mr N de Boinville7 159 141 162
2 261311 Cause Of Causes 27 5 11-5 Gordon Elliott56 Davy Condon 152 141 160
3 22-121 My Tent Or Yours 29 6 11-2 Nicky Henderson50 A P McCoy 149 127 161
4 21/171 Dark Lover 57 8 11-1 Paul Nicholls52 Ryan Mahon3 148 152 164

However since the crash when I copy and paste it looks like this

NO.

I have no idea why. I tried it on my other half's laptop and it worked fine, it is just on mine. Any ideas please ?

So, you are copy/pasting from a browser? Which one?

Yes, but which browser; Internet Explorer 7/8/9, Firefox, Chrome?

Did your browser change when you did the reinstallation?

Try another browser, firefox or chrome. What happens?
This will help establish where the problem lies.

Thank you, that has solved it. I installed Chrome and it has worked a treat.
