If so, there is a chiptune festival in Manchester this September, with Sabrepulse the main act announced so far.

The linky provides some good starters, being fairly accessible stuff. Search on youtube for Chipzel, she's actually up for a BAFTA!

Not seen that for a while, it's very much in the vibe of what will be played ... along with the the wonderful MENEO

Npthing graphic in this, but a bit odd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljYRikIliJU

Most of the artists use Gameboys modded with this stuff

http://www.littlesounddj.com/lsd/

Though there are a few artists who ill be DJing using Amigas.

There's workshops as well so will be a good day. It's not my event btw though I know people involved in it.

Absolutely adore 8-bit music. I like a lot of hybrids into rock and electro too. Anything that has that old computer element to it.

Anyone interested should check out Abducted by Sharks.

Abducted by Sharks - 3am

Another favourite
Dead Lung - 8-bit Flex

And another
Lukhash - Tonight

I could go on, I absolutely love this kind of music
