Beans seem to go great with a whole variety of food, like scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausages, chicken, chips etc. Don't you agree?

Never had fish with beans. Sounds most odd to me. I'm assuming we're talking baked beans in tom sauce here?

Love sausage rolls and beans. The pastry tastes so nice mixed with them.

They're an excellent 'padder-outer'.
They add a bit of moisture too. |

![]() I hardly ever eat beans but I like them cold , I have strange kids the eldest wont eat beans at all, and the youngest will only eat them with sausage rolls or toast .. even then thats about a few times a year.

As a chili fanatic, that's an acceptable substitute to kidney beans in a con carne. I do the same on occasion, but only after spicing them up a tad with some full-on hot-sauces and spices.
