Blinkbox

Hi - quick question, I just signed up to their offer of £5 when you sign up and deposit £1.

Say I watch a film for £3.49, and I have £2.51 credit left, am I able to deposit another £1 to watch another movie, or do you have to deposit a minimum amount?

Thanks

They would take your credit first and the balance would be taken from the payment method you registered.

It will probably take you days to watch one film as they seem to stop every few seconds.

I think PPV is a rip off. Better of with netflix or lovefilm.

I disagree on that one. I don't want to pay a monthly subscription for films - I just want to only pay for those films that I actually want to see and Blinkbox is good in that respect and I wish there were more services like it.

Blinkbox was rubbish on my PS3 - skipped and froze every few mins.

All the ppv movie services I have used allow you to either add credit to your account or just pay individually from a credit/debit card.
I have used Blinkbox and have had problems with the audio being slightly out of sync and pausing and restarting solves problem for while. I am currently using my £50 free credit with Acetrax and find it ok most of the time, but Saturday evenings give problems. After a quick Google search this seems a common problem. The most reliable service I have used so far is Sony Movies Unlimited (Qriocity). I have Knowhow, but haven't tried it yet due to the films costing more. Eg. New release SD is 3.99 for some movies whilst other providers charge 3.49. I don't like using Sky Box Office as I like to PPV and not wait for my monthly Sky bill.

I have Netflix, Crackle etc etc, but still like the option of a new release ppv. There is a market for both.

£6 a month and you can watch as many as want in HD on netflix Vs £2 a pop for an SD film? It just doesn't seem like good value for money to me.
