Does anybody know what the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is like compared to the Samsung Galaxy Ace?

Ace 2 is faster, has a bigger screen, is dual core, more memory and will be getting a jelly bean update this year.

I was originally going to go for the Ace but I'm glad I went for the Ace 2 instead. I'm very happy with mine.

Im on the Ace and love it but when my SIM only contract ends Im thinking of changing either to the Ace 2 or S3 mini so good to see at least one positive review of the Ace.

It's not a bad little phone. Obviously the more expensive phones have better innards but the Ace 2 works very well if you don't wanna break the bank or just don't fancy the likes of an iPhone or S3 etc

Yeah Im toying with switching to 24 months with the s3 mini or just head back to Pay as you go in which case Id consider the Ace 2. Can't justify paying cost of the S3 or Note.

I bought the Ace 2 last October from Phones 4 U so it came unlocked and unbranded and it was £150/£160 I think. It was actually a last minute buy as I sat on my previous phone and broke the screen so just went into P4U. The Ace 2 was the only phone I liked within my price range at the time.
I've recently got a phone imported from China but am considering switching back to the Ace 2 as it's just that bit better. I was toying with buying an LG Nexus 4 until I found out the screen is 4.7" I don't like screens bigger then 4.3" at a push. The Ace 2 is 3.8" I believe but is incredibly clear and bright.Plus with it getting Jelly Bean (according to Samsung) at some point this year I think that will give it somewhat of a new lease of life. I'm sort of rambling on now but I'm just trying to explain my own opinions on it

I have an ace 2 and think it is a good feature/cost balance. Having said that samsung seem to be announcing the release of a phone at about the rate of 1 a week so I would not have a clue how it stacks up against their latest phones.

The original Ace is always being advertised in the papers for contract.
