Double EE4G data for existing orange or t mobile customers

Orange or TM customers transferring to EE4G by the end of Feb get double data. Ie 2gb on £41 and 6gb on £46 per month tariff.

I might be interested in the £51 5GB tariff if I can get 10GB. Was thinking of going to three after they Cap the full monty plan.

I know three will launch 4g soon and with no extra cost but there are a number of things concerning me using three for my phone service. I already have an ipad plan with three which is very good. However there are times wherein London especially where the network is so congested during the day that it struggles to run a speed test. Where my full monty hits the cap at around 5mb. I think EE is the best for a phone service what do you guys think?

I think so yes. But we just love it don't we?
Like I said in another thread (I think), we're the cutomers EE love. The nutters who sign up to LTE when there is none! Hahaha

I blame it on Kevin Bacon and Tremors!

Any foreign friends viewing this forum will now be looking up thier online dictionaries. Only in the English language would you find a word like diddled.

Not sure Devon when this offer started ? Was just told today when I spoke to t mobile retentions that the double data was for existing customers only and for people who swap over before the 28th feb. I was told that the data would apply for the remainder of contract and even if I upgraded to 5GB it would double too.. In relation to coverage I work in London ( LTE coverage no issues ) and live in Colchester, where I have been promised coverage by June but probably by April. Also I commute on train to work and LTE is covered for half the 50 mile journey to London at the moment. I certainly wouldn't consider transferring if I had no coverage at work or home. What would be the point ?

Ok, Thanks for that. I had to move over from Orange because you start a new 2 year contract when you do. If I had waited till this Autumn to move then my contract would effectively be 3 years. As it is I upgraded to Orange (iPhone5) as soon as it was out then moved to EE 1 month later. That way my contract length is only extended by 1 month overall and I will be able to use my iPhone 5 with LTE for at least a year when it gets down here.
Also I got out of sync with iPhone versions so my contract was always up when the "s" version came out. I've now managed to get it so I upgrade when a major iphone version is released. Didn't want to get out of sync again!
This is assuming they carry on with 5s, 6, 6s and so on.
Did that make sense?

Yep, fully understood. I must say I just phoned up EE to check the double data was correct and they confirmed it, by the way, how refreshing, straight through to a UK call centre and super helpful. They confirmed the double data

I am on this sync too and always have been but to be honest I'm very interested in seeing what the S4 has to offer. I could well flog mu iPhone 5 and pay a little extra for sim-free S4. I've been iPhone since 3GS and swear by them but Apple are pissing me off as they are starting to lack innovation a bit now.

I rang them up to chance my arm and explained that I was pre-orange before signing to EE. I told them that I was aware of double data and was hoping I could avail of the offer. The very helpful girl said she would just check with a team leader and came back to tell me that she would add 3GB on to my deal to double it to 6GB of data.

Given I already have £10 reduction for the rest of the term (until November 2014), I am getting U/L call & txts and 6GB of 4G for £36

You going to call them Devon?

I am surprised that EE are not heavily promoting this offer to existing orange and t mobile customers ?

I have two 4G handsets from EE, both migrated from orange.

They have just doubled my data, te operator had to call a different department (retail sales)

Double data on top of my 25% PERK discount is working out very well. I now have 6GB for £34.5pm. I will never use all that he he

Yep on my EE it didn't show my double data either. I phoned Ee and they told me it won't show the double data but they will only take 50 percent off what you use

You mean as a euphemism for female masturbation? Oh hang on that's another definition of 'diddling'. English is such a rich language:-)

This isn't correct. When I go on the my EE app and check my allowances it shows my data allowance as 6,144Mb of which I have used 499Mb. It appeared like this very soon after I got off the phone to EE CS.

I can show you a screen shot later when I get home, I only have 2g atm and it will take all day to do.

Great deal! I find it very interesting that this deal ends around the time the auction winners are set to be announced...
