Orange to EE
Hi there - just want to make sure i'm thinking correctly about this!
I wish to move to EE and get the iphone 5. Checked with orange today and my early upgrade fee is £50. According to the EE website I would be paying £29.99 for the handset on a £41 a month contract with 1 GB of data. Apparently EE have a promotion on at the minute which doubles the data allowance so I would be getting 2GB of data. So all together I would be paying approx £80 in store and getting 2GB of data a month. Is this right? Thanks! |

Yes. Best way is to upgrade to to an iPhone 5 with Orange first. You will pay the upgrade fee plus the £29.99 for the handset on Orange iPhone extra 41 with 2GB data.
Then log into your Orange account and select the option to move to EE4G or call EE4G sales. You should then get your double data meaning you stay on 2GB! Remember your Orange contract will be scrapped and you start a new 24 month contract with EE so move fairly quicky or your contract period will be extended beyond 24 months. E.g. If you stayed with orange for 3 months then moved, your total contract period would be 3 months + 24 months = 27 months. Probably as clear as mud
