I can see why she might want to do this; her previous DVD was basically a lie and she wants to do it right this time. But she really needs to get away from this whole weight loss thing (except as something she might do privately for herself). As seen from the comments on this thread, and on other threads, it's making her a laughing stock. I wish she'd get back to acting.

What I find particularly annoying this time is her using the "realistic" angle. She has absolutely no shame.

I agree. She is definitely in my Top 5 irritants. I did have sympathy for her but it's run out now. I can honestly not see any redeeming features in her at all.
She was a decent actress who has shown us that she's nothing more than a total fishwife and a deluded media ho.

For the sake of her mental health she should wake up and smell the coffee, and stop trying for this glamour girl status she seems determined to get for herself. It's never going to happen and she will become even more bitter if she doesn't see sense and try and get her real career back on track.

Blondie X's description of NC being a total fishwife and media ho is, sadly, very apt. It's all pretty tragic when you look back on her best work as an actress in EastEnders.
