Replacement iPhone 5 from Apple Store
I had a few issues recently with my iPhone 5 and took it to the Apple Store they replaced the handset but it feels different to the last one if you look at the part around the edge if the screen it sticks out more also I'm not sure if its just me but it feels heavier slightly has anyone had this done as well and noticed differences?

It might be a slight redesign following the paint chipping issue.

To be honest, I think you're just imagining it.
I had my iPhone 5 replaced a couple of weeks ago and the replacement is identical. |

I dout theres 2 versions of the iphone 5, if thats the case everyone would be going back to Apple demanding the "redesigned" version, it would be all over the internet

I doubt even with improved coatings there would be perceivable difference in weight... Maybe your old one had something missing and that was why you had issues :P

It's probably because this one isn't worn in yet it feels different. Thanks for the responses guys.

I was reading on the Apple forums a couple of days ago about
replacement iPhone 5s, and apparently they do have slightly thicker glass. Not sure how true this is though! |
