new iphone 5 - itunes confusion!
Evening all,
Got my new iphone 5 today. I'm confused though. Set up my new device via iCloud which has synced all of my previous apps to my phone. Connect via itunes to install my music and it says that the library is already synced with another iphone and I will have to delete all data from my new phone. Any ideas how i can sort this out!? Thanks |

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I synced my old iphone 4 to my laptop. I've managed to download them all via the cloud but would like to remove certain songs via itunes which i never listen to to free up some space! |

Try this:
In the Preferences bit of iTunes, select the option to stop devices syncing automatically. Then connect the phone. It will recognise it and show it, but it won't try to sync. Then in the phone options bit, unselect all the things you don't want to sync (probably everything except music) then try and sync. That way, it won't wipe your apps and stuff. |
