TMobile voicemail problems
Hi
I recently got an iPhone as part of a new contract with TMobile, though I'm not new to mobiles per se and in this respect at least know how things should work. Basically, anyone calling me and getting bumped to voicemail would have been put through to the voicemail of some lassie called Annette. (I say would have been as thankfully I haven't missed any calls yet.) If I try to access the voicemail at the number TMobile gave me, I get a message saying the call can't be connected and to phone the number of the person I want to speak to. TMobile's phone service is appalling but eventually I got thru to someone who tried to fix it, failed, and said he would escalate it. He then kept me on hold for so long I hung up. Next attempt was via Twitter. They've managed to fix it so that people do get a message saying that my number is unavailable and to leave a message. However, if I try to retrieve the messages I still get the 'unable to connect your call' spiel. Anyone had this problem and managed to fix it, or have a number that's not the appalling 150 or the 0845 one publicised on the site? TIA. |

Have discovered that if I dial 222 (which then prompts TMobile to text me my voicemail number) and stay on the line I can now hear and delete my messages and change my greeting. Not sure how ideal a solution this is though...

If you go to Settings/Phone/My Number, is it in "International" format? i.e, "+44 7xxxxxxxxx" wher the normal 07 is replaced by +44 7?
That's how it should be, maybe that will help. |
