Thanks I'm guessing ste's begging for forgiveness is not believing him

Jesus, it all sounds so perfect when Kieron puts it like that. His Stug interviews were never as shippy and thoughtful as his Stendan ones have been.

We know where his heart lies

Thurs 21st - "Annoyed at JP's friendship with Doug, Ste kicks off at him!"

Fri 22nd - "Brendan returns, and is Doug ready for romance again?"

Tues 26th - "Kevin makes it his mission to get one over on Brendan."

Wed 27th - "Kevin accuses Brendan of committing a terrible crime."

Thurs 28th - "Walker puts pressure on Kevin."

Fri 29th - "Ste begs Brendan for another chance."
That one sounds so wrong.

As does the next one. Get what over on him?

I think Ste must go and see Kevin and maybe accidentally makes things worse.

Balls that Brendan wants to marry.

Wow. Did anyone think we'd ever get Stendan having a coversation about getting married one day?
I will be completely honest in saying that I don't feel like it's that in character for them to talk about marriage. There's a serious amount of changing Brendan has undergone - from ultimate self-hatred due to homophobia to him being able to be out in the open, but the whole idea of actually getting married to a man, I would think that he'd never really consider it.

Don't know if anyone else feels that way

Don't we all?

(Except not because at too many people love him )

Simon's promised to tickle his tummy if he does good.

For the nest issue, it teases that Walker tells Kevin to kill Maxine. But Will's spy camera catches Kev dumping a body into the river, so "it looks like he's been caught in the act."

Because every storyline needs Will.

I love that they're bringing up the DV again too in a totally believable way, that Ste would doubt Brendan and that Brendan would feel hurt because it's something they're past now, but it's something they still need to discuss. And I hope they do.

My babies.

ETA: F*CKING WILL.

Can I just take a moment to flail over the marriage thing?!

I thought that was a great interview in general really.

With something that Kieron said in that interview and a tweet I saw recently, I really am starting to wonder if Kieron is gearing up to leave. Like, doesn't have anything set in stone, but the beginnings of itchy feet.

There was this tweet from Ela-May's mum to PJ
@peejaybrennan @emmettscanlan as long as u don't consider leaving peej cos then I actually will stop watching x
and then his line in that interview about realising his potential as an actor. I kind of want him to start thinking about his career outside of Hollyoaks.

This is just me rambling, btw. I'm all emotional tonight now

I don't think it's out of character for him to talk about long-term commitment and possibly joke about marriage, being an old married couple, etc. But I can never imagine him popping the question, so to speak.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

WILL?!!!!

I can't even.

I hope they make a joke about Doug.

But he's come so far. I'm so proud of him that I feel all choked up.
I know.

He doesn't hate who he is anymore.

I used to.

If you had asked me six months ago then no way.

But he's come so far. A big public showy wedding like Stug? No. But a private ceremony with Ste, Cheryl, Mitzeee... Errrrm... the kids.... and a no fuss party? Yeah.

Everyone was really worried about it for some reason.

But I loved it.

Kieron, bless him. I'm really glad it's shed some light on this whole JP/Doug thing, too, because I was getting sick of seeing places wind people up about why Ste started on JP and everyone was freaking out and I'm just glad that it's basically JP's a tit and Ste hates him.

ETA: Yeah I never used to think, ever, that Brendan would even think about marriage to a bloke but I dunno, I think something about him being ready to do that with Ste is so touching, even if I wouldn't actually want them to get married, and so gorgeous.

I hope Brendan's all, "Maybe we could get married!" all jokey and Ste's all, "Yer wot?" and Brendan's all, "Um .. Oi .. *awkard cough* ...nuthin'."

That body better not be Maxine

Wonder who's body it is

When asked if Ste's upset that Brendan goes to Ireland, Kieron says, "Ste's totally fine with Brendan going because he knows he'll be back the next week!"

He also says that he and Emmett always joke that Brendan seems to go to Dublin every week, and he says he thinks he just drinks Guinness there and grows his 'tache longer.

He's also asked how heavily involved Ste will be in Brendan's exit, Kieron says, "Ste is the centre of Brendan's world, so he's going to be right in the middle of it - but he won't be the cause of it. I'm going to miss working with Emmett; I think I've only realised my potential as an actor since he came along. It'll be weird not having him around the set to lean on anymore."

As for what's ahead for Ste, "He's (Ste) done relationships to death, maybe it's time to take him down a bad-boy route again. Watch this space!"
Thanks for quoting all this Maya.

This interview is perfect It all sounds just too good to be true

We'll have to see how the marriage conversation plays out, Over. It could come out of Ste challenging him, or Brendan wanting to show that he's as committed as Doug was, or any number of ways. In any case, it's a bit abstract as Ste can't get out of his CP for months yet.

I was also thinking brendan would be even more doubtful about telling ste of seamus because he may think ste won't believe him

It all depends on how it's done. Like, if it's one of them jokey discussions couples have, then I could see Brendan having that conversation. Or maybe discussion marriage and realising it isn't really them, but they'd do rings or something

MARRIAGE.

I don't think we'll lose Kieron any time soon but you never know. I would love to see him keep challenging himself as an actor.

Yeah I could see Ste being all "Well I'll never be married again anyway!" and Brendan taking it as a challenge. Like "Says who? You never know...". Aw.

I can also kind of imagine Brendan considering it as a way to ensure Ste gets everything when he dies (not that he knows he's dying yet, but it's a fair bet he'd go before Ste).

He sees Kevin dumping a body in the river.

Please tell me that's the Dog pond.

Again.

Please.

I want Ste to find it.

But why does Walker want Maxine dead?

ETA: Oh Jesus Christ this is so beautiful but it's really depressing and it hurts.

Wait?! Will?! What the bloody hell has he got to do with this? Why does he have to be the creeper creeping into everyone else's (decent) storylines?

And why does he have a spy camera?

Oh wait...it's Will
