Girlband Parade split up after Bianca leaves the group

Quote:
“Girlband Parade have tonight announced that they have split up.

Parade have called it a day.

The five-piece pop band, whose debut single Louder reached number 10 in the charts, told their fans the news via Twitter this evening.

Tweeting from their official account the girls revealed that Bianca (middle in the above picture) has left the group - and that they wouldn't be carrying on without her.

They posted: "Dear Fans We have some news that we're gutted to announce - sadly Bianca has chosen to leave the band.

"As you all know, the 5 of us make Parade and without all of us together the band would not be the same!

"We hope you understand that we've made the difficult decision to not carry on without her, as Parade is about the 5 of us girls.

"We cannot thank our fans enough for your incredible support as without you lot we wouldn't have achieved the success that we've had.

"In the last year as an unsigned band, we've written and recorded some wicked tracks and as a thank you...

"...we'd like to give something back for your love and patience. Watch our facebook page for more information.

"Thank you for coming on this rollercoaster of a ride with us and look out for us in the future! Love Parade x"

Bianca (far right) has left the band.

Parade, who were formed in 2009, were formerly signed by Asylum Records but dropped in 2011.

Despite their self-titled debut album failing to chart they had been working on their second album with producer Tim Powell, who's worked with the likes of Girls Aloud and the Sugababes.

They had previously supported Westlife, The Wanted and Alexandra Burke.”

such a shame, perfume and louder were decent pop songs.

As if she wasn't easily replaceable.
More like the record label was fit to drop them and they came out with this

They weren't signed so your point is moot.

Wow. I don't like the way they've basically pinned the blame on Bianca.

When I heard their first single I thought they could be the next Spice Girls, (I'm judging me too right now) it's a shame they're over but I only liked their one song.

The most generic girl group imaginable with a terrible name, no personality and mediocre songs.

Is ANYONE going to give a shit about this?

I don't think I've ever heard of them.

I seen them when they opened for Alexandra Burke back in 2011. They lip synced the entire set which I've never seen an opening act do before! They were also crap, it's was actually cringe worthy how bad they were in ever way!

they didn't offer anything new to the music scene and i don't think they'll be missed at all by the the majority of the public

I don't think anyone will apart from the three people who bought their album.

Me either, that's what drew me to the thread - I was wondering what I'd missed out on. I didn't know they were ever together let alone split up

I thought Louder was a good song and fancied Sian quite a bit lol.

There's a lot of bile towards Parade on here, which is odd as they're pretty inoffensive. In fact I've met them all a few times and they were very nice every time. The album was pretty good, there are a few tracks on there that stand out like Weatherman, Pretty Ugly and Ticking On It. They COULD sing too, especially Bianca! I'm gutted they're split, their new material like Light Me Up and Throw It Up In The Air sounded promising. At least I still have my signed merch...

They were a girl-band who got their debut album all the way to #171 in the charts in 2011 (and yes that's right #171).

Somehow I think the industry will survive this great loss.
