Well, I suppose they aren't driving.

Many years ago I used to do the London to Brighton pub crawl regularly by train.

The drivers on this route must carry a spare pair of underpants in their kit bags.

The staff on here seem cheerier than last week's lot but that isn't difficult!

It's a lot easier to be cheerful if you live in Yorkshire than London.

They don't work in London, that's reason alone to be cheerier.

Why should it be a Gay Haunt"? Straight people have set in the bushes as well you know! (especially when young and no place to go to)

I might sound harsh but trespassers know what they are getting themselves into but what about the poor driver of the train?

It amazes me how many people dice with death by trespassing railway lines. You wouldn't trespass on the motorway yet they are far safer.

We could do with a return of PIF's in the style of Dark Water, with Denholm Elliot (IIRC) doing the voice over.
I think the Government has put the kybosh on PIF's though (Public Information Films).

Then again, I shouldn't say too much I've done the dash across the train lines at the station, once.

Well he definately won't do it again.

The person I feel really for is the poor sod sat at the front who could only slam the brakes on, cover his eyes and hope to god the worst doesn't happen.
