Scallops and crab are relatively cheap in the fishmongers or supermarket so try them at home. Scallops need only a short fry and serve with a good black pudding and apple sauce. Or you could try M&S Coquilles Saint-Jacques which just need cooking in the oven. You can buy crab dressed and ready to eat. All you need is a wedge of lemon and some granary bread. Any one of these would only cost around a fiver and serve two people.
Lobster, however, is quite expensive and unfortunately I've never had lobster that I thought was worth the cost. so I just settle for the occasional tin of Baxters Lobster Bisque.
My 'never tasted food' is artichoke.
