French films on telly in the late 80s
Hi all
Anyone used to watch these? I adored them, films such as: One deadly summer Death in a French garden He died with his eyes open Pauline at the beach |

I've never seen any of these.
Wrong year.But my fav ever French film is 'Time Out'(2001). Truly memorable. |

Yes I remember from around that time some of the french films on television.

I remember watching those. The ones that stood out the most:
Au Revoir les Enfants Savage Nights Diva The Accompanist Subway Police (with Gerard Depardieu) Vagabond The Horseman on the Roof Mina Tannenbaum Le Cop The Frog Prince (with Jane Snowden) The one with Charlotte Gainsbourg as a rebellious 13-year-old. Edit: An Impudent Girl. I had no idea how lucky we were with Channel 4 and BBC 2. |

Still my favourite French film. Years ago, I got a French colleague to pick up a French DVD of the Director's Cut version (no subtitles) as no DVD was available in the UK. The closing scene still has tears pissing from my eyes (and I'm sure it's not just the 2 bottles of wine that I've necked by then).
