When i first heard Bleeding Love i absolutely hated it....for weeks. Then i was sitting in the back of the car and i started singing along to it on the Radio...2 weeks later it was my most played song on iTunes and then one of my favourite songs of all time!

I remember feeling sort of shocked. I had followed Leona throughout XF and she was the one who made me change my whole mindset about XF. It seemed like an age before BL came out and her first performance of it on XF was very good. I sort of loved it on first listen, but it was not what I was expecting so it sort of threw me a bit. Of course, after a couple of listens I really loved it and to hear the opening music to this track still gives me a thrill now, years later.

The opening bars still amaze because they are unique. |

I remember watching Leona's first Bleeding Love performance on The X Factor, I just remember being blown away by that high note she does at the end and thinking this girl is going to be massive! Ever since I've always wished there was an official studio version featuring the high note as its just angelic !
When I first heard the song itself I wasn't keen but kept going back and replaying it and eventually I fell in love with it. |

(and it kept getting better in subsequent performances!!!) and yearning for studio version with high note! (and imagining how much bigger of a hit it would've been with that note in the studio version!! hah) |

It's definitely one of the most defining songs of the last decade.

I thought it was a great mid tempo ballad. I still like it, It's so much fun to sing along to and the lyrics are excellent

I thought it was epic. For some reason it reminded me of a Prince song. I don't know why.
I thought she was letting herself in for a lot of flack if it flopped with a title like Bleeding Love, but luckily it was her biggest hit.

I at first didn't care for the song, but after a few more random listens, I decided that I needed it. It was too catchy in a ballad sort of way. And it would just stick in my head. It was a wonderful song that Leona did. Though now of course (6 years later) I prefer Run and Glassheart (-this should be released as a single).

I thought it was good.
Then after about 50 listens in a few days on various radio channels I decided it was annoying.

That song was the best record leona and her team recorded. It shows that the public who voted for leona in 2006 got it right

I thought it was over-rated, still do. I think Footprints in the Sand is her best song, when I heard it for the first time I thought 'WOW, this is a masterpiece'.

I wasn't hugely wowed at first, but then it grew on me.
It became my defining song of 2007 and with the whole spirit album, it was really big for me |
