Who know where can I find a free software for unlock LG8120 , my friend and I need to go to Canada for holiday, I need to find a software now !!!! Please help me !!!! Thanks!

I don't have the power to do that myself or indeed, anyone else in this forum (i may be wrong). You can try and phone up Three to unlock it, but that will be damn near impossible, considering the call centre is in india, plus it will cost. I recommend going to a shop and getting it unlocked.

By the way, are you from England, because your typing is horriffic (no offence meant)... :S

Plus, if you want to go to canada for a holiday, why do you need the phone unlocked?

If you are coming back there is not much point, plus if you are on Threepay, there is no roaming service... I recommend getting an old phone with a 2G sim, to roam...

Why not just get roaming activated?

I was looking to unlock mines but i'm just gonna buy a new phone, the samsung E300 on Virgin Mobile as it's not worth the hassle.

Well considering that Google is one of if not the best search engine on the net and none of the results it turned up were free, its not looking good...

Because people like to make money out of their services.

If someone creates software or a method to unlock the LG phone then obviously there's a demand for it and they can charge for it.

There may be a free method released one day, but it would appear it's not here yet.

I noticed today that the local mobile shop unlocks them for £10, you could look around the smaller (non-chained) mobile stores in your area and see if they can help you, but I would accept that as it's important for you to have this unlocked right now that you are more than likely going to have to pay for the service.
