Like wise, people think I'm pranking them too, still happening now, and when they call back, I answer & its drops! Even more hilarious but don't give up yet, Rome wasnt built in a day!

It really is dreadful, calls are dropping all the time.... why would you say otherwise?

I just want to call and chat with friends without having to keep calling back and apologising.... 3 is not a mobile network like any other presently.

When I want to send them an email I just go to their website and click Contact. There's then a form for sending them an email.

They have always replied to me. I email them quite often when I have questions that aren't urgent or I want it on record that I have contacted them regarding something.

It does say on their site that emailing them normally receives a 10 day response.

If you have sent them an email and not had a reply, check to see if they received it or resend it.

The emails appear to go to the UK customer services, so you get a decent answer too.

Yep.

One's mine, other two are Ms Lalaland's, but we share their services. My cat does an excellent back walk (claws are extra) which is very relaxing and once she's done a couple of laps up and down your back she tends to curl up and purr in the middle of you which is also quite relaxing.

I also have a dog, but never got round to putting him on the services list for some reason.

Well then no evidence of course. How's about trying Virgin they have roaming for Pay as you go. I've used it in Spain when I was on PYG with them.

The reason for this is that it can take weeks for theInternational Roaming partner to infor the UK Mobile operator of the charges run up in that country"

If one is using prepay vouchers to credit your phone it would be possible to run up tens, or hundreeds or thousands of pounds of calls before your mobile company was informed of this by the roaming mobile company and was able to deduct the charges from your prepay voucher credit. Which would be great if you have only put £15 on the account and then stop using it.”

Yes they are talking rubbish I'm afraid.

The username and hence authentication method is still your mobile number in international format.

He is presuming that you are talking about the preset email address format [your mobile number]@3mail.com when you talk about phone number being shown.

I have emailed them days ago via contact link - just wondered if there was an actual email address.

I've said this before, but where are you getting this figure from?

According to 3's website, this page of the 'Real deal' page 11 of the pdf doc, 3 unlocking says it costs £15-00 ?
Whether or not this refers to network unlocking I dont know.

Just for information (and not advertising as per DS rules, so I won't post the address or shop name etc.), I called in to a local phone shop on my lunch hour today and asked them how much to unlock an LGU8120 and they quoted me £10 and can do it while you wait.

If you are intending to sell this phone I would unlock it anyway, take a look on Ebay and you will see that unlocked phones tend to sell for more than sim-locked phones anyway.

I would email Three via their website querying the charge and see what they say. I reckon that if they realise you're at the end of your contract period they will either drop the price or let you have it free.

lol, really? I've emailed them about 5 times, and got a reply for every email (sometimes takes upto 5 days for a reply, sometimes within 24 hours).

My latest email was sent @ 2.00am today, and I had a reply by 1.45pm in the afternoon. This was using the "contact us" link via the website, and NOT via the contact.centre@three.co.uk email address.

Maybe you should try it?

Agree. I had a reply back within 48 hours. It's getting better.
