Steven, I often find on Ebay that having a lower starting price gets you a lot more interest.
If you see your same product selling around £60-70 then starting the bid at £70 is a bad idea.
I would start it at 99p with no reserve personally, but if you are worried about it selling for less then chuck in a reserve price. You will get a lot more attention as people see the low price and have a go at bidding for it, then they get out bidded and it's suddenly a competition to beat the person that just knocked them off.
This way often gets you more cash than someone that chucks in a last minute bid of the higher starting amount you originally had.
I managed to test this because my mate does the same as you on Ebay and doesn't always manage to sell stuff, where as everything I sell starts off low and I've only had 1 thing that's not sold on Ebay.
Anyway, up to you, that's just advice.
