is ie 9 different on windows 8 than windows 7
I have windows 8 at work with IE10, go a website up and running looking fine, changed to compatibility mode and made the changes which also looked fine but on testing IE8 & 9 on windows 7 the changes have not been made.
Does windows 8 treat internet explorer different than windows 7? |

IE10 has a better renderer than earlier versions, IE10 is more standards compliant.

what does it look like in chrome & firefox ??
better to build for (cross-platform) chrome/firefox then tweak a bit to make it work well in IE .... and bear in mind that only 28% of computer browsers in Europe are IE (only) these days .. going by statcounter |
