Railways seem to be in vogue at the moment don't they, never off the TV...but sounds like an interesting programme docu/drama about the first murder on a train - 9PM on BBC2

Liverpool, hmmm, 2 more goals needed...kicking towards Kop in the second half 'tis entirely possible if they don't concede another.

If they get 1 it will be like the Alamo...

Switch over silly

I felt sorry for Carragher he's a classy bloke, and two great free-kicks by Suarez, but he will never be liked or admired, raking studs down a defender's calf in the box, and then running over an opponents back with football studs is just inexcusable and dirty.

It's like a racehorse standing on someone - instinctively you move your feet away, strikers have fast feet also, they should never run over the back of someone - unless you are just nasty and spiteful of course...

For all the huffing and puffing Liverpool rarely looked like getting the goal from open play, a corner or free-kick looked best option.

Glorious failure, but green shoots are budding at Anfield I think brighter days are around the corner - some talented young players now starting to play well together.

RIP Bob Godfrey - animator of some classic TV

Not a good week for Roobarb and Custard, best titles of any children's programme it takes me right back to my early childhood, and Noah and Nelly in Skylark was just another teatime watch.

Hard not to like Pretty Woman, a real feel good film, I always forget how good it is.

Julia Roberts has never been better, including Erin Brockovich.
