on Febuary 14th most people become desperate, so as long as you are out on the day (you don't have to be dressed up or anything) you will get someone
Seems a tad optimistic I think it'll take a little more than just being outside on the 14th

Because you're single, or just generally?
Not because of that.

Even in the years I was with someone I never had a nice valentines day, so I'm out to get it.

Also a lot of singles get depressed because they don't have someone all because of a dumb, commercial day.

I like the sound of what they do in Finland..

In Finland Valentine's Day is called Ystävänpäivä which translates into "Friend's Day". As the name indicates, this day is more about remembering all your friends, not only your loved ones.

Fight the good fight, B I'm with you, it can be pretty depressing. Especially as my two best friends are both married, and I'm singler than single Down with Valentine's!

That sounds like a much better idea. I'll be on here on the 14th, sharing the love with all of you We can be lonely together

^It does sound like a nice way to do St. Valentine's Day. It doesn't have to be all about the "loved up ones".

I'll probably bouncing around on here too.. like a Gummi Bear. No doubt I start out trying to be like Cubbi but ending up like Gruffi.

I'm going to get drunk with my spinster friends, and we shan't cry about not having someone, we shall laugh in the faces of people who do, for they aren't free as we are

You said I was not worth the trek!

And yeah kids TV sucks now. And it's because kids TV used to be good at being appropriate for it's viewers yet touching on sensitive issues and also being crude at times too. The new ones are just lame.

It's not that you're not worth the trek, hon, it's that it's a long way to go to be sent all the way back. I'm not in your league

I know we all look through rose tinted glasses at things like this, but it is true, modern kids TV has really become substandard.

And when you think that the execs that run the channels/produce the programmes were probably children in the golden period of kids TV (late '70s to early '90's) its amazing that they can churn out such dross.

And yeah kids TV sucks now. And it's because kids TV used to be good at being appropriate for it's viewers yet touching on sensitive issues and also being crude at times too. The new ones are just lame.
Its all catered for short attention spans now. They probably don't even show the end credits - I'm sure we can probably all remember when the end of the show was just another excuse for a good sing-a-long.

Kids television can be great depending on the age ranges. Peppa Pig et al are great!
