Huge boos for Russia, like Graham said, it's not the girls fault, it must be horrible for them.

Really happy for Conchita. She is the Queen of Europe!
It's a massive middle finger to Putin and Russia too ![]() Shocked about Molly's placing, we send a good song but it does mediocre? 26th position played a part but its still political (a phrase I didn't want to utter). All those points to Russia pissed me off. Despite this it has been a great night! Vienna 2015! |

Not my choice , but very well done! And it was surprising how many countries you wouldn't expect to give top marks to her did. Very refreshing on that front. Its a shame Molly didn't do well, but I think it there were some tough competition this year. Just look at the top 10 (with a few exceptions) quite good songs. Have to say though, the presentation was crap. Especially those interval pieces. |

So happy about tonight's winner
We deserved to be higher and the country who was third was craaaaaaaap. My friend told me to shoot her if they won which thankfully they didn't. |

Congratulations to Michael Sam on being drafted by the St. Louis Rams last night.
Just a shame that some folk seem it "controversial" that ESPN showed him kissing his bf when he got the call. Linky for anyone interested. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-27360558 Last edited by LudwigVonDrake : 11-05-2014 at 10:58. Reason: adding the link |

Good thanks. Sitting here thinking I should do something constructive but actually accomplishing bugger all.
EDIT: Just clicked on the Daily Mail (and to my surprise) their lead story is Michael Sam. Apparently his jersey has sold out already "after that kiss!" ![]() http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ng-season.html |

![]() ![]() I have 600 words left to do, I think I've worked fairly hard on this essay, I usually give it 70% and I'm actually putting 100% into this one ![]() However I'm unsure over whether I've answered the essay question or just documented the life of Aileen Wuornos

I don't feel like I've answered the question either. Bye bye university career!

Thankfully it was only light, but sporadic. Usually a downpour when I decided to fold the brolly away. (insert roll eyes smilie here)
Just heard 'Rise Like a Phoenix' on the radio, and its a great song in its own right, Conchita or not. I might just have to purchase it...
