Agreed. Decent enough vocal and the song was good, but I did prefer some of the others. Still, I don't begrudge the song winning, nor do I Conchita.
And it was surprising how many countries you wouldn't expect to give top marks to her did. Very refreshing on that front.

Its a shame Molly didn't do well, but I think it there were some tough competition this year. Just look at the top 10 (with a few exceptions) quite good songs.

Have to say though, the presentation was crap. Especially those interval pieces.

How's everyone's Sunday? I've got 1000 words left to write of my final essay of second year yippee!! It's dreadful but I'm past caring. As long as it gets over 40% I'll be happy

Monday has been fine thanks. Just a little rain soaked.

It's been quite nice up in Northumberland today, supposed to rain tomorrow though.

Thankfully it was only light, but sporadic. Usually a downpour when I decided to fold the brolly away. (insert roll eyes smilie here)

Just heard 'Rise Like a Phoenix' on the radio, and its a great song in its own right, Conchita or not. I might just have to purchase it...

Was a bit down over the weekend.... Feeling slighty better now....
