This hot weather is brilliant 😆
My mum makes me laugh, moans in winter because it's miserable then moans in summer because it is too hot 😅

Oh I'm certainly Hard-y for Ben too

When you've got a body like this then how can you not be 'hard-y'? (I'll shush now)

I don't know if this sounds a bit gross, but that's how Macauly Culkin should have looked growing up

OK, here's on for y'all...

The 'gay kiss' during the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony; too much or just right?

I'm thinking it was just a little bit too heavy handed. They could have just had two sets of same-sex couples in the Gretna segment.

It was like they saw the ESC '13 interval show and thought "hey we can have two fellas snogging as well".

I barely blinked at it. It was John Barrowman after all.

Did any of you think that show was a steaming pile of you know what? I know it was never going to compete with the 2012 Olympics ceremony but c'mon lol

Anyways, shopping spree was good, got a new shirt, Jokerman T Shirt, two new pairs of jeans (one skinny, one regular, both light) and two new chinos (skinny navy blue and regular mustard) AND I'm back into 30" waists again

True, it was hardly as "in-yer-face" as the Eurovision kiss, but it still seemed a bit clunky to me.

Yeah, it was total cringe. I'm sure a lot of people put a lot of hard work into it, but it just felt like it lacked vision or a direction.

Can't wait to see what folks from Gold Coast '18 come up with in the closing ceremony.

What EV kiss?

Yeah as you say, obviously hard work was put in, but nothing jelled and it just came across a cheesy.

Was it the 30" waist bragging or the clothes part?

You could still be a babe. I just love being skinny lol

The opening ceremony was awful until the Athletes parade haha. Glad I didn't go ahead with my volunteering forms for it now o.O

Was meant to be on TV this morning but on Tuesday afternoon I'd found out they'd chosen someone else and didn't have the decency to tell me grr.

Been cleaning the kitchen cupboards today and one of the doors. Oh and I went for another run today & did much better thankfully. Just got to keep going heh =\

Early start tomorrow as got to wait in for people to come in the morning grrrrr >.<

Its at 3:50 ish

And the first part seemed really rushed. I couldn't tell half of what Barrowman was signing about.

30"

Don't be ashamed of it though.. just me being jealous.

If its any consolation I had to buy 32" for the skinnies :3

The
Dogs were pretty sweet and seemed happy enough despite the obvious exploitation they were put through

(joking BTW)

Yeah I was concerned too, but I figured that they'd be well looked after.

....

*siiiiiiiiiigh*

I've gone on to FB just now, only to discover that a second (gay) friend has got engaged this week.

I'm happy for them all.. honest.

And not the slightest bit jealous

The idea of being married horrifies me. I want to stay young and independent forever

Nah..not at all!

I'm the opposite (apart from the getting old bit).

Maybe its just because I've bought into that "settle down, buy a house with a white picket fence and a couple of dogs" ideal.

Nowt wrong with that! I could picture you with a guy sprawled out on a nice bespoke sofa watching a Hugh Grant film

Is it so wrong that I want a friend with benefits type marriage where I have banter with my partner and we can just hang out and not get too attached to each other - but for the rest of my life? I'm more of a supporting best friend type than a considerate boyfriend if you get what I mean?
