I'm off until Thursday, managed to swap one of my colleagues for a shift, they've taken my Tuesday shift.

I'm a little cut up about Thursday though, because I just realized that's the day of a baby's funeral, and I'll more than likely be staying to help out with it.

It's just tragic. I mean every funeral is tragic, but at least with adult relatives or friends you can exchange stories about their life, with a baby that's hard to do. That baby never got the chance to embark on a life, I can't imagine how distraught the parents are either
Sorry to hear about that I'm with you, can't even begin to imagine how the parents are feeling. Such a shame

It is. I just thought of how I'd feel if any of my nieces or my nephew passed, I'd be more upset if they passed than my sister or my parents, just because I've seen them grow up. So that's why I can't imagine how it is for a parent, because we can't know what it's like to lose that bond with your child forever, unless we are parents ourself.

How are you Lewis?

(I felt so awkward putting a smiley after that almost profound paragraph, oops!)

I know, it's really upsetting and shows that life can be very cruel.

Ah don't worry, I'm alright thank you. Extended family have been doing my head in today but apart from that I'm good. What about you?

Oh dear god don't talk to me about extended family. You know, I rarely ever see my extended family, and the ones I do see it's usually the same old faces, so there are ones I only see at funerals. Do you get on with yours? is it just a "only in small doses" situation?

Yeah I was just at work today, I've been a bit ill with my teeth giving me problems (I'm getting my first filling ever which is setting yours truly back £23, if you don't mind!) and I also worked hungover after a two day bender... yeah never again

So fine albeit dull day

Oh yeah I get on with them they just suffocate me and wind me up. 3 weeks until I move into my uni flat! Yippee!

Oh my god you must be in agony. Tooth pain is the worst! I've never had a filling before so I count myself lucky Tut tut tut, you only have yourself to blame for a bender/hangover

It's where the wisdom teeth are. And Dentist No-No stuck me on penicillin which means no drink for Jackie

I know and it makes me angry that it is my fault, I hate not having a scapegoat lol

Reasons why I'm not doing it:

1. All the celebs are doing it. How much more awareness does one charity need?
2. I've just done my fake tan.
3. I find it obnoxious that people don't take into account that I have charities closer to my heart that I want to make sizeable donations to when I've got a decent wage, and if that day doesn't come a tenner each payday won't hurt.
4. One word - WHY?

OUCH! Oh hell that must be painful. Damn, how long are you on penicillin for?

I agree with all of that, it's like the no make-up selfie thing which really infuriated me. People are just doing it for the sake of it and are not donating the money anyway. And there are a lot more charities out there as well.

I'm not sure, but its been next to useless so far. I think it could be an infection because it seems that cocodamol aside, corsodyl mouth wash has been a great pain relief.

That's exactly how I feel! Like the no make up selfies, what do they actually do to help? I think its rather insulting to people who stand put in the cold collecting chump change who truly are dedicated to fundraising if I'm honest.

I would donate to MIND or the Railway Children before MacMillans.

Oh dear, speak to your dentist if it gets worse. Tooth pain is the worst.

I know! All it is is a popularity contest and it's just awful. That's what pissed me off with the makeup thing, all popularity really.

For me it would be Cancer Research and the Alzheimer's Society as both cancer and Alzheimer's have touched my family.

Steve Grand does the ice bucket challenge by jumping into Lake Superior in the nuddy but only releases a photo of it.

Yes, he does have a sickingly good body. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and I just can't get anywhere near having my abs showing or even looking like I enter the gym 😡😡😢

And a good singer to boot. Shame we're having to wait so long for the album.
