Good to hear! are you still running the cat rescue center? (I always thought you were bloody brilliant for doing that btw!)
I'm pretty good on a whole. I will soon reach my 6 month milestone of being employed, yay! ![]() ![]() Yup, still doing the cat stuff. Rehomed lots of moggies over the course of the year, we are quite pleased with ourselves ![]()

I'm kind of torn between getting a kitten as I usually have had older cats in the past, and I've never had one as a baby. But at the same time I've loved all my cats that I've had and not enough people give the older cats a chance. I got my current cat when she was five, she's ten now and there's still life in the old girl yet

Yup, I'm actually looking for something better now, I'm cutting my days to two soon rather than the five/six I'm on at the moment (christmas and all) to go back to college next year

It's a shame that no UK food channel is showing any of Donal Skehan's shows anymore.

Doesn't he just.
BTW, he was RoI's Eurovision entrant in '08. Now he's a TV chef and presenter. |

It had Loreen who's song I still listen to (and would actually happily play in public), there was also a shouty Albanian chick I liked along with an obscure Danish entry that only I seemed to like

Oh yes Donal is rather adorable!
Love Eurovision! 2012 was a good year, Euphoria is such a tune. And Albania's act was brilliant, her shouting/screaming/whatever you want to call it was superb! The question is will the UK ever win again? Hmm. |

![]() Trouble is, with such a huge amount of entrants, its hard to be heard above them all. You've really got to stand out. Our '14 song was good enough, and I was surprised as to where it finished, but in another year, it could have placed higher. |

![]() But they were determined to keep this disastrous night alive, so we went to the only pub in Glasgow that didn't appear to be jumping, had a couple of drinks along with another long, awkward pause of silence, and somehow I was convinced to see this film which turned out pretty decent but not amazing seeing as I couldn't follow any of the witty in-jokes that the die hard fans were chuckling away at. Finally after that we called it a night and I proceeded to take the longest bus journey home at 10-ish. And it was full of screaming drunk underaged teens. Such fun. I'm taking a month's break from the two particular friends I was out with. Sometimes you see people far too often

I was supposed to go to the Irn Bru Carnival (it's basically an indoor glorified fair on a big scale) with some of my friends. Two pulled out before we got there so there was only three of us. Unsurprisingly the queue to get in is jumping, so we collectively decided to go elsewhere. We argued, in public I might add for about half an hour over what we were going to do. We went to Frankie And Benny's, ate whilst still arguing over where to go. I wanted to go drunk bowling, the other two were determined to go and see the new Hobbit film, which is fine if you've actually followed the films and I haven't. I told them to go on without me, seeing as the day's been shit so far, I'd rather just go home, they were adamant on not going in order to please me despite the fact I tried my hardest to convince them that I was perfectly happy to call it a day. (because who doesn't have a shit night every once and a while?)

I went home for the Christmas holidays from uni and I feel like I've drifted from so many people in the time I've been away. (I haven't been home since early September). I still have my closer friends which is great but it's still a shame. I spent NYE with some of them and didn't have a great time at all, though I was ill and I never care for New Years anyway! It's just worried me because I have an amazing social life at uni, but if I end up having to move home after I graduate I'm scared of being really lonely. I'm keeping away from my home town even if it kills me. |

Nothing worse than a flop night! I think not seeing them for a while is a good idea.

So I'm back from a weeks ban, what's new for me, well, I'm 23 weeks clean and sober, I'm leaving my St Albans store and moving to Stoke Newington convenience, which will be a lot closer for me, and I'm back at the flat after Christmas/New Years.
Still on the happy pills, but I suppose I'll be on them for a while, oh also, this year I move to Vancouver, in August, which is a bit exciting. |

Absolutely, and I don't care for people making a fuss over the age gap. So what, they're happy!Great news Jase, keep it up, I don't want to hear of any relapses or I'll come throttle you myself! ![]() Vancouver eh? get you, I'm quite jealous. Canada's like the best of both worlds from the US and the UK without all the lame parts thrown in. I hope things fall into place for you I really do
