My god, I needed to share this quote from the "if you found out your child was gay" thread in General Discussion.

I would imagine that true homosexuality (as opposed to fads that they grow out of) is maybe genetic. That is why some say they are born with it.

In other words if you are truly married and happy with your wife etc then the chances or producing a gay child would probably be minimal.
Ugh.

Has anyone been watching CBB this year?

Michelle Visage claims to be a representer of the LGBTQ community - I think she's been a terrible representation of the LGBTQ community. She's just loud, nasty sidekick to Katie Hopkins.

Only thing that saves her is Perez Hilton is such a vile idiot. Accusing people of homophobia when there's none there won't do gay people any favours, he's single handedly alienating heterosexual people against us all.

Saw a couple holding hands in the shopping centre today. Not something you see very often, it gave me the warm and fuzzies.

Oh I forgot to add... it also didn't hurt that they were hot too ....and seemed unsure whether to hold hands or not. Which just added to the whole cuteness factor.

And yes.. I'm just a little bit jealous.

I wouldn't like to hold anybody else's sweaty, clammy hands. I hate my own clammy hands as it is. Besides I tried it once with my ex and he just slowed me down so I let him go and walked ahead of him

Hiya Fairy! nice to see you back. Shame about the cold, make sure you're getting plenty of fluids and medication regularly. Plus hot long baths are always a good short term healer.

Don't listen to me though as I'll be back here in a few weeks when I have the cold

Aw god that sounds downright lousy Well I hope you get well soon, it's not nice being ill

I just feel so lonely and unwanted, hence why I downloaded tinder. It's good for a laugh though, I love swiping no at guys

Another reason why this week has been rubbish is because of my uni. There's a core module that I have to do and without our knowledge the module was changed and was advertised on the online module catalogue completely differently. Fuming, I don't think I'll end up with a first class degree. Was hoping for a nice last ever semester but no.

It has been and thank you lovely.

Awwwww Lewis

Ah the joys of uni. I've only got one module left which starts next week plus working on my dissertation, so unbelievably stressed over it :\

Not a problem The weather doesn't help either, woke up to torrential rain and then later on a snowstorm!

On top of my dissertation (which I'm up to 4000 words woohoo) I've got a presentation portfolio to do, a 3000 word essay on a topic I know sod all about, a 30 minute script and a critical analysis. Fun fun fun! You can do it! We both can!

I'm no slag

Yep. I sat in amazement in the lecture yesterday when she said something entirely different to what was advertised. What a joke!

Well several of us are complaining. Seriously guys never go to uni. You don't want to pay 9 grand a year for outdated lecture powerpoint slides, changes to modules and general ineptness. Don't do it!

Of course you're not

And dam right you should too since you're paying £9k a year, what a joke!

I wasn't planning on it now I'm dead certifiably not. A lot of young people seem to go to Uni just to delay the inevitable trouble ahead of them: finding a decent paid job.

My plan is to get a HNC/HND qualification under my belt whilst staying in my current job until I can find something better. It's the only way forward. If you have a part time job then hold on tight to it as it's easier to get a new job when still employed than starting fresh from unemployment.

I'm genuinely not a slag thank you I want to find a nice fella.

Well I complained. Two tutors who are pretty high up at uni and are in the know had no knowledge that it had been changed. So it's the stuck up cow of a module leader's fault. Anyway, if I don't do well in that module and it's my lowest mark it gets replaced with my highest mark from second year so it's not all that bad.

Anyway, had a great chat with my dissertation supervisor. I now need to watch A LOT of 1980s TV drama over the next few weeks.

Yeah seriously don't go to uni. Go to college or get an apprenticeship. Or find a fabulous job. It's not worth the hassle or the debt. You seem to have your head screwed on so good for you!

Uni isn't all that bad, it just has its bad moments It is worth 9k if it helps you get into higher positioned employment. Depends what you want to do really. I didn't go back to uni to delay the inevitable. I did it to expand upon my childcare knowledge. I have also been working part time (as you already know lol) to add to my experience.

I have a HND qualification and did that at college, graduated from that in October but only paid £4,500 each year but you can do them in some universities. I don't even pay the full £9,000 for this final year either. It is almost that much though

Well I've just learned something. Apparently February is LGBT Month in the UK.
I didn't know that until today either.
