Spoiler
I was so pleased by all the results! Coronation Street is my favourite, but I do like Hollyoaks as well. EastEnders deserved nothing this year - it's been awful.

I believe you pisshead

I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually enjoyed an exam, my Higher English one at that!

I was on fire, if I was food I'd be a sausage fresh out the pan, I was HOLY SHIT hot. Honestly if I don't get an A then I on't know what went wrong

Then I got some barr pineapple juice and tanned that while walking across the field which takes me to my house, in the sunshine, sublime

Haha, never mind, it could've been worse, you could've posted something you later came to regret lol!

Enjoy your time off before the new job commences

P.s - there's never such a thing as having too much

Okay so I might be three years late but I just discovered epic rap battles of history, I think history lessons at school should have been like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6Au0xCg3PI

^I think Mozart wins there^

Well I'm about 17 years late for this song, but I just think it's incredible to listen to:

Diane Charlemagne with a voice like hers should be the biggest thing since slice bread.

I'm a confused duck.. this equal marriage bill passed last night right? Does that means its law (after its been approved by their Lordships) or not?

I'm not really sure what the deal is.

I think its got to go through more stages of approval but those ghastly Tories and their attempt to thwart it have failed, which is good.

This has taken so long to pass though it's just infuriating. Much like waiting until 2017 for an EU referendum. It baffles me tbh.

^Well not all Tories were against it. (Guess that's a debate more suited to Politics though).

Just seemed odd that it went through and then today there was no mention in the news. Lets hope we don't see scenes like those in France when it finally becomes law.

Can't believe someone asked this on a radio call in the other night....
"How can same sex couples consummate a marriage?"

The thoughts; "there are websites that can show you" and " its easy you stick a wosit up a you-know-what" sprung to mind. (trying not to lower the tone with that last one)

I stand corrected, BBC News still has it on their ticker, guess the media would have made more of a fuss if the Government had lost.

Or is that just the way we Brits are? Vote approved, not much fuss and move onto the next thing.

I'm sure we'll soon hear how this is going to destroy the fabric of society from the usual nutters, wasn't one of them blathering on in the press earlier this week?

The equal marriage bill has gone through all the stages of debate and voting in the House of Commons and the Commons voted to approve the Bill (think it was something like 360-160 votes) so they can't 'tamper' with it now.

As the Commons approved the Bill, it now goes to the Lords for a process of 3 readings/debates (where the Lords can make amendments to it) and becomes law once the Lords (after having debated and amended it if they see fit) are in agreement with the Commons over the 'exact wording' of how the law should be introduced. Once this has been done, it goes through the formality of Royal Assent (which will definitely be granted as this is simply a legal formality to be satisfied) and is law.

To paraphrase the waffle; it becomes an Act of Parliament and thus law after the Lords have approved it in agreement with the Commons

You mean like the guy who said: "in 30 years time the primary schools will be empty"?

Ah I knew you'd know!

That's good news then. I was worried it'd be knocked back down the corridor and we'd be stuck in a loop.

The results were odd to be fair, but the favourite won I suppose. And it has grown on my since. Shame about Ireland.
