Did you go to heaven after? It's always hellishly busy during Pride...
In other news, I baked a lemon drizzle cake today which was amazing. No shock, because I'm brilliant at everything, but you know, after my last cake disaster, I did worry a little..

They have something called the Smiler which looked fairly insane. Some guy started swearing while it were going around!
My dad gets the tickets for £11 which is well cheap. Took ages to queue for it, but totally worth it (though it broke down requiring technical help once we had just got inside for the final part of the queue which didn't help with the nerves lol )!Oblivion I'd say I was a self-certified adrenaline junkie, but even that was almost too much for me (that long wait before the free fall!!!) Out of the ten of us, 1 was in tears, 1 shut their eyes, 2 looked like they were gunna be sick after it and the rest of us seemed to scream / me accidentally shouting "hoooooly f**k" during the free fall The whole waiting part before the free fall not so much, apart from that it was pretty fun My favourite ride by far (and there seemed to be consensus on it) was Air like you Jav Complete with Superman pose and everything (I couldn't resist the opportunity!) ![]() It's by far one of the best rides I've been on at any theme park!

Apparently this guy is aiming to be the first openly gay country star. (Westboro is going to hate it!
) All-American Boy - Steve Grand http://youtu.be/pjiyjYCwNyY Quite a good song IMO (not overly country sounding), with a rather poignant video. And it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes too!

Have to say that I'm not a massive fan of the song, having said that I don't mind watching the video
I think I prefer the new macklemore song - the video for that is also great! I'll admit, the song sounds a bit like that one Gaga did.. was it 'Nebraska'? Although I'd rather listen to him than her.Quote:
it's a pretty decent song and the story in cute. Good Luck to him, hope he does well.
The song is available on his website, hopefully he can get enough sales to put an album together. Quote:

Well I thought the story of the video was about a Gay person unrequited love for a straight person. At the end the straight guy was like 'hey man, sorry I don't roll that way'.

^Ah ok.
I see the video is up to 800k views already (as word starts to spread around the interwebs). I wonder is this a new model for artists? Sort of the digital age equivalent of playing the pubs and clubs in the '60's. And interestingly, YouTube views count towards the sales total for the US music charts, so I guess this might get some airplay there before too long.

I have just brought the song. I like the idea of being able to pick what you pay, but I did sit their thinking what should I actually pay, cause I didn't want to be stingy.

Some dude from New York has actually made a music video involving himself doing various date-y things, and then snogging a guy. It's a really cute song too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jPba9WJCzE
