For ethnic and regional stereotypes you don't have to look further than Whitehouse and the Aviva ads

Can't stand any of the meerkats adverts.Hate the look and sound of them. Also fed up with all of these serious illness adverts at every turn - even on the radio.

I do like the two Pandas dancing around their enclosure when the photographer has his back turned.

No I think it's Tenna pisspants lady again
I was shocked by this ad so what if she didn't have tena lady her pissy arse would be up in their faces?
Now I do apologise to anyone who uses the products, its no laughing matter and there for the grace of god go I, but is there a need for the ad to be so... Visual?

Coke Server Guy: "Hey, I'm the guy that served your coke earlier"

Cinema Goer: "**** off, I paid to watch a film!"

Coke Server Guy: "But don't you want to know how I have messed with your coke? tee hee!"

Cinema Goer: "Erm, you put a coke zero cup inside my full fat coke cup? I noticed straight away, but just figured you were a bit retarded"

Coke server guy: "That's not all- I gave you coke zero instead of coke, hillarious right?"

Cinema goer: "I thought it tasted weird! I was like, this idiot has given me a coke zero cup, do you think he gave me coke zero? I literally just said that to my nan just now. I was also freaked out that EVERYONE in here seems to be drinking it. No, it isn't hilarious, it's not what I ordered, and hilarious only has one L, dumbass! I'm complaining to the manager"

Manager: "I'm ever so sorry, he's already had a disciplinary for this. He took a load of recordin' equipment and made the video, then he started messin' with the cokes.
I thought he had some mental deficiancy, so I was trying to humor him, ya know?"

*Later in Rehab*

Coke Server Guy: "First it was just swapping the cups around, you know, childish stuff... then it got out of hand. I had to 'watch' myself doing it. I started filming it, then I started swapping diet coke for coke zero. Nobody could tell the differance, it felt so good, but also naughty. I thought I'd try with regular coke, it was a step too far- people could tell, it just felt so right. I know I have a problem, I'll stop, I PROMISE *sobs*"
I nearly got sick laughing at this

Wasn't that an old Kit Kat advert? I loved that sorts of ads!

Italian puppets......Juan Sheet......Mexican singers.

How many more ethnic stereotypes can ads produce?

It's like an episode of Mind Your Language.
'Russian' Meercats? Irish 'homebird' 'mammies' boys on the Richmond Sausages advert?

They just brought that back havent they? Brilliant
Though it remains to be seen if they "updated" it a la the classic Milky Way advert from a couple of years back.

Just seen an advert for a payday loan company called oakam. The ad itself is not that bad but the message they send out is so bloody annoying. With such quotes as "i thought that being on benefits would mean I couldn't get a loan but thanks to oakam I can!" And "i have only been in the country for a few months but I still was able to get a loan. Thanks oakam!" I wonder who their target audience is?

Why have EDF got a dollop of poo as it's logo? And why is it on the dog? Is it dog poo? I don't get it

Yes, it is the old Kit Kat advert. I thought it was a new ad at first when I noticed it the other day. I remember thinking that I'd seen it before and then realised it was the old advert. Still raises a smile though.

As an EDF customer I think a dollop of poo is a very appropriate logo for them.

A complete lift of the panic scene in 'Airplane!'
Have these 'creatives' got any original ideas?

I like EDF energy they told me I could switch to British Gas because they are cheaper and I so admired their honesty I stuck with them...

It does to everyone.

I cannot believe that there wasn't a single person in the advertising meetings who said "Umm, doesn't it look a bit like a turd though?"

A number of companies seem to be cutting their advertsing budgets by reusing old adverts, or perhaps I'm being cynical and it's a well thought out retro campaign.

Milky Way also used the "red car and the blue car had a race" one again.

Actually, are they the same company?

Not to everyone, to some it looks like some kind of sex toy....from what I've read

It seems to be the original untouched advert; even down to the original size format; there are black margins down the side of the picture on wide screen TVs.

Wish they'd teach these people to speak properly!

Totally agree. I understand the need for this product but the way it's advertised is beyond belief!

Despite looking identical to how it did almost 25 years ago, they appear to have refilmed part of it. KitKat wrappers used to have foil inside, but the unwrapping of the bar is a new style wrapper. Great match with the original footage.

The ad breaks are f***ing ridiculous now! It seems to be the SAME ads EVERY BREAK!
I've seen Wiltshire Farm-bloody-Foods 4 times in the last 40 minutes!
