How high are we looking at for a tennis peak?
I'll have a stab - 8.2m.
I'm going a good bit more

9.3
I'd say 9m+

They'll have to do it at some point or else they will gradually get lower and lower.
Regional HD (BBC/ITV) should be available on all platforms (inc Freeview) within the next 12 months.

If we had C5HD on Freeview I'd be more upset. But we still bloody don't.
CH5 should have got their act together 3 years ago!

The ITV News website is terrific. The website redesign was something genuinely different and innovative and very well-designed, and one that utilises the resources they have far better than previously. It wisely targets a very different audience to its traditional competitors and that's why it works. Well deserved.

Maybe I'm missing something here but I don't see what's so unique about it ? I like the simple, clean design, that's very much a positive, albeit not award worthy in itself. But in terms of the format it just looks like a blog that updates automatically to me, and not that innovative. The internet is awash with blogs ! Personally I don't like serious news presented in that way anyway.

The BBC Sport website for me is in a different league entirely. These industry awards are too political and are as much about having friends in the right places as anything else.

Fair enough, it's clearly not going to be for everyone is it? But I think that was the whole point behind the redesign i.e. it was intended to be an alternative to the more rigidly structured format you get on the BBC and Sky websites.

It's not a blog, it's a news website, the delivery of which is focused on real-time updates and feeds that can be filtered by story. In that sense it is unique compared to what other news websites are offering particularly in regards to the news stream. There's a lot of merit in the design I think. I certainly don't think it's fair to call it's win 'comical' just because it's not to your tastes. A lot of people really like the format and it did end up increasing the website's traffic by six times.

Wow! Said the tennis would be a hit. If he makes it to the final Sunday and I think regardless of the heatwave we could see 13m+

Brilliant peak there. One of the highest peaks of the year so far. I think the final on Sunday will beat BGT's final peak. It got 16.7m last year, could it beat that?

7m watching at 17:55 - they wouldn't have gotten anywhere near that number had it been on BBC Two I reckon. Obviously, it would have knocked The Chase a bit.

Bloody hell that's a fantastic figure. It was a fantastic match though so I think that's well deserved.

Brilliant start for Your Money Their Tricks, the leg up from the Regional news helped. And Apprentice went up too, helped by the better lead in than last week.

What ratings did BBC Regional News [7.30-8] and on Itv: Emmerdale and Coro St get?
