Yes he did during the London Boot Camp show.
But on Xplosion this week, his music was changed.

I hope they can make it happen - because that Little Prayer sing-along would be incredible in a packed stadium.
But this is TNA were talking about so...

I agree it would be a real shame if they can't use Like A Prayer in Glasgow. If that's the case, at least Dale Oliver has ages to come up with a good sound-a-like.”

It depends on the kind of deal you have with the holder of the copyright I believe. You just have to pay more to get the track on DVD. Could be (probably am) wrong though

Yet another TNA show added to Destination America's line-up.

TNA Wrestling's Greatest Matches will debut on Saturday January 10th at 10am for three episodes, two further episodes on Friday January 16th from 9am before moving into it's regular timeslot of Saturday afternoons at Noon (following IMPACT Wrestling: Unlocked) on the 17th.

I know this is probably me sounding like a broken record BUT why have two shows under the IMPACT Wrestling name and then this one under the TNA Wrestling name? Is it really that difficult to pick one?

I don't know if this makes a difference but the version grado uses is a cover of like a prayer. His verision is by mad house

I would have thought that "TNA Wrestling" would allow them to encompass matches from their entire history up to, and including, the name change to "Impact Wrestling". That was my first instinct.

Either way, they're certainly getting a lot of extra content on the new channel by the looks of it. They'll be having a Knockouts reality show next.

I suppose that's one way of looking at it. Just fron a consistent branding point of view, it annoys me a little lol.

Couple of rumours I've read over past couple of days which I hope aren't true because it would show they've not learned from past mistakes.

Apparently the company told Destination America quite a few weeks ago that Angle had re-signed to them. At that point, he was yet to sign a contract.

Another is that they have offered Alberto Del Rio a $500,000 contract and DA are said to have offered to pay some of the bill.

Like I say, I really do hope they aren't true because of the reason I said above. Del Rio is good but he ain't 500 grand good at a time when the company haven't worked a show in two months.

Half a million a year for Del Rio? That seems pretty excessive. That would make him probably their highest paid star alongside Angle and Jeff Hardy. He's a good wrestler but I would say both are bigger names than him. I doubt he'll sign anyway because he's the champ of AAA and is probably being paid handsomely for appearances with ROH and Lucha Underground. I wouldn't mind TNA using him now and again as well though.

If they build him up as a strong shoot fighter/submission expert, he would make a good opponent for Lashley and Angle.

Del Rio is also apparently in high demand for MMA according to Meltzer. For a man who was fired six months ago, he seems to be in a great position to make a lot of money.

Yeah I wouldn't mind him being used but f*ck paying 500k for him lol. I doubt personally he could pull in $500k.

I'd take a punt on 10 indie stars at 50k a pop (not a bad wage for a company that has no house shows booked and is primarily based in one place) than blow it on Del Rio.

Exactly. TNA needs to build it's own stars and maybe they can use someone like Del Rio now and again to drum up a bit of extra interest. They could do with a bit of a roster shake-up though, just to make their new start seem meaningful. New faces, a new set and a new vibe are needed.

There's talk that they won't be doing any PPV this year, which suggest that they'll go for the NXT style weekly booking. That's a good idea. Keep things simple, easy to follow and effective rather than doing what they always do and getting bogged down with factions and conspiracy stories.

In fact, I would like to think that TNA have used their time off to plan the next six months to a year of creative ahead and will have a solid vision regarding the major feuds and pushes that they're going to book once they start back up. Maybe it's a bit optimistic to expect that from Dixie Carter though.

Well Lockdown which has previously been a PPV has been demoted to a themed IMPACT special episode so it seems that is possible.

I hope 2015 is a good year for them, they have three shows airing in the US. I really hope they steer well clear of yet another heel faction headed by yet another ageing star. And they have to learn from mistakes and go back to being TNA not the poorly executed WWE brand they became.

They've been given an opportunity to reinvent themselves that I doubt will happen again if this doesn't go well.

Something they don't seem to get, if I wanted to watch a poorly executed imitation of the big players, I'd go back and watch Russo's WCW or the past month or so of WWE

TNA is going live tonight in the US for their fist show on Destination America.
Roode vs Lashley for the title is the main event and there's also meant to be a big announcement from Kurt Angle, probably signalling his return to the ring.

I really hope this is a success and that TNA can reboot themselves into something interesting. One worry is the fact that Dixie has been giving interviews talking about wanting to incorporate reality TV elements into the show, which could be really good or absolutely terrible depending on how they do it.

I enjoyed this interview with Dixie Carter which you can hear on The Ross Report podcast at http://podcastone.com/The-Ross-Report as a variety of topics are covered including the use of both the TNA and IMPACT names. The brief takeaway in terms of the show tonight in the states and this Sunday on challenge is that the first show is really all about about wrestling. I cannot wait to see all of the changes come into play that will boccur on future shows.

Also Challenge have confirmed via twitter that they will not be showing the new show "IMPACT WRESTLING UNLOCKED". Perhaps this will change down the line.

“@TNA_Fanzone @IMPACTWRESTLING @TNADixie @RealMikeTenay We aren't showing Unlocked I'm afraid”

Regarding the reality show elements, to me this seems that a reality theme would be better suited for the unlocked show and not the flagship IMPACT WRESTLING show. Or perhaps some aspects will be part of the flagship show.

I'm definitely pumped up for the show.

Suddenly I'm more optimistic about this show:

Dixie is apparently not going to be there!

It wont matter, any changes they are making wont be seen until next week once they have had time to film them and edit them. Also Spike wanted an all male audience and Destination America wants a much broader audience with Dixie herself wanting to bring in more younger viewers. She said on JRs podcast the only reason for her doing that storyline was to help get the younger guys involved in it over and expose them to the audience watching.

I think what fans will get tonight is a good wrestling show, new graphics and titles and credits but not much else. Alll the reality stuff and out of the ring stuff will be on future shows as they are taped.

Is this airring on Sunday (via challenge) or should I just torrent? 😇

(as for Del Rio - worth every penny imo!) 👍👏

Spoiler
I do know BobbyL is the new champ! 😉

Del Rio worth $500,000 when the rest of your staff haven't worked in two months?

Del Rio won't sign for TNA. He's working for ROH, is the champ and top star of AAA in Mexico and has potential offers from Luch Underground and MMA companies. Japan is also an option for him. It's kind of like AJ Styles situation - he's in enough demand in multiple places that he can set his own dates and work for who he wants so it doesn't make sense for him to tie himself down to a none-too-healthy TNA.

The show was what Dixie said it would be, a wrestling show and that's not a spoiler, that's on JRs podcast, fans all over the UK will have heard that, i'm not spoiling the show for you by saying that, it's a TNA wrestling show all over. She said herself it wont be till next week that we start seeing the changes they have instore being made because they have time to film them and edit them properly.

Having said that there were a few parts of the show, talking parts of the show where it took me out of it, it was your typical wrestling type promos, it was laid on a bit thick and if you've seen it you'll know what I'm talking about. The irony is, prior to one of them, before that part of the show we see this character talk several times in pretaped segments and I actually really liked them, it was quite realistic and I ended up really like the guy but then later on it changed. I will need to watch the show again because my opinion could change.

Then why air this one live? What kind of relaunch happens two weeks into a new run?
