That's reality, show them asking for certain matches or arguing why they are in certain matches. That way there is no GM authority figure, the audience sees how matches are made week in and week out.

They shouldn't even mention "creative" because if I'm meant to believe that this is real, why would there be such a thing as creative or writers? If they just turn everything into worked shoot BS, then it'll quickly become unwatchable. |

Because no wrestling companies are actually putting out a decent product just now. The idea is to try something new rather than something similar to everyone else. Reality route is one of the few things not tried by wrestling companies.

The way to make it work is to go simple and make things seem important. Make it about the wrestlers rather than who is in charge or who is in cahoots with who, which is what involving creative as characters would turn in to. I would prefer the "reality" stuff to be used to show wrestlers in training building to a big match, or going to events and appearances etc. to show off their personality a bit. Other than that, I'm not sure how reality TV translates effectively and from the interviews I've seen, neither does Dixie Carter. |

People don't want that anymore. They've seen it all before.

Once again Jeff Hardy has been refused entry to the UK.
Makes you proud to be British. ![]() If he's allowed entry, them why is Jeff Hardy barred? |

I guess TNA have never gone down the worked shoot route before though! |

Destination America has a lot of reality content on it and they want a wider demographic than Spike did, Spike only wanted males 18+. Destination America want females and young people watching. Reality is the way to do that.

It might be worth looking at the various types of wrestling that are being put out there currently.
New Japan, Lucha Underground and ROH seem to have good products at the minute. Maybe TNA and WWE for that matter can maybe take some of the elements from those companies? |

such a shame, wwe needs competiton. And TNA hasn't gone "backwards", it's exactly the same as before. Nothing has changed. You want logical booking and GREAT wrestling? http://njpwworld.com , 5.55 pounds per month. Live shows, on demand library (with stuff dating back to 1973) and just awesome stuff. Just the fact that you could watch live the Tokyo Dome show and, if you're lucky, you're gonna watch the ENTIRE G1 Climax with not even 6 pounds...huge steal. |

I would suggest the bigger question is why is anyone trying to translate reality television to wrestling now? They're about 10 years too late on this. This style of reality television is an overexposed and dying medium.

TNA only do faction wars. They literally have no other form or storytelling.

thats out of date but basic 80s booking is still required?

How can an overload of something be the same as a total lack of it? It's just the only trope TNA seem to be able to use. That and heel authorities, which is also a WWE favourite.

Also, TNA supposedly tried to sign WWE Hall of Famer Edge.
In other news. Lionel Messi will NOT be signing for Leeds United this summer. |
