This great news, Scotland have never had a TV taping before, getting my tickets for this as soon as possible. And it's going to be in the new Hydro arena which will hold 12.000 people.

I believe the Hydro's capacity is customisable, so they'll probably aim for 5,000 to 6,000. |

Has anyone noticed, how AJ Styles has a new submission manoeuvre targeting the Calf specifically, I wonder if this was, so he can use it on Bully Ray soon, as Bully Ray's old shtick was his Calves and his whole "Calfzilla" thing, and AJ's finisher is called the "Calfkilla" according to Tenay last impact..
I definitely believe AJ is walking out of BFG world champion, I'd be shocked otherwise. But of course this is what the whole "can't challenge for the title for a year" storyline may have been buildiing up to anyway, to see AJ back on top following his current issues. AJ is one of the more intriguing characters on Impact at the moment, and it should be really interesting to see what he does. Whether he aligns with A&8's, Bad Influence or TNA. I don't think he should align with anyone really. Should stick to what he has been doing currently. Also have to agree with the comments on Matt Morgan. He really is becoming a potential wild card in this storyline. It's pretty obvious he's set his sights on Hogan but saying that it appears that he wants to be the guy who brings a change to TNA and wouldn't be happy if A&8'S did it, which could make for a very interesting storyline. Overall TNA has been thoroughly entertaining and Impact Wrestling is currently a great show. |

Poor old AJ's had a couple of terrible years with TNA. I don't know if he's been resting, nursing an injury, getting old or what. He's lost match after match, he's been in some dire stories and at key events he's had to limp around the ring acting badly injured by some low blow or another. Even when he did that incredible high drop from the gantry down onto Bully Ray through a table (I forget which PPV it was), AJ still lost the match. Also I understand the politics of bagging Sting before any chance that WWE might, but AJ was a more serious contender for first TNA Hall of Famer.
If you go back and watch his earlier years (I heartily recommend both volumes of the Phenomenal DVDs), you see one of the most exciting wrestlers in the business. TNA's recent use of him has been pretty poor. Very impressed by Taryn Terrell's first matches, best knockout in a long time. Good kinetics, strong persona and she looks like she's fighting not dancing. Velvet Sky, on the other hand, never the best wrestler... since her return, she's just been coasting. Morgan's been the best on the mic that I've ever seen him. Did he go to acting school? He's great fun. Loved Hogan's "Andre the Giant" putdown. My wish for 2013 is for Aces and Eights to wrap up. TNA is definitely on a roll at the moment. X Division and tag matches have also picked up. However, I still can't help feeling that some of the wrestling isn't as sharp as it was in the Asylum days. I'd also love to see a real hardcore match -- the WCW ones had me laughing more than Laurel & Hardy. TNA often talk-up cages, tables and kendo sticks, but we get none of the mayhem that you use to get with Ming, Smiley, Funk & Co. I miss those days and would love to see them back. |

TNA likely to have a problem with the NFL schedule; NFL are running every Thursday from September 5th-December 12th- and in the first few weeks there's Jets @ Patriots and Giants @ Bears on a Thursday.

A good Impact again. A few observations.
Firstly have to say absolutely brilliant to see Chris Sabin back wrestling in TNA. One of the most talented guys on the roster and great to see him back in the ring. The X-Division is getting more depth and is definitely improving. Nice to see TNA kept Matt Morgan strong by not having him tap out to the submission, but surely TNA should have let him win the match. Matt Morgan is supposed to be one of TNA's top talents yet they have Sting go over on him and getting the World Title match. A Morgan/Bully Ray feud would have been interesting, not least because it would have meant Hogan would have had to support Morgan in his quest for the title as Morgan, even though is not on good terms with Hogan, is part of TNA and Hulk wants to get the belt off Bully Ray. AJ Styles has been given another ultimatum. As with the first one he was given by Hogan he should do nothing and stay unaligned. Said this before but his character works. Expect him to stay unaligned to any organisation. Also credit to the Knockouts Tag Match and the feud for the Tag Team Titles. Both great aspects of the show. |

I agree was a good impact this week, even Rob terry was impressive with his double back suplex with one guy on each arm! And that figure 4 on Tarryn by Gail Kim looked genuinely painful
And in reply to Sting being too old, yes he is getting on a bit but he can still cut it in the ring, unlike Hogan. |

I have no qualms about Sting facing Bully Ray for the World Championship. It makes sense from a storyline point of view as Sting was the one who pushed for Bully to get the World Title shot in the first place.
Just thought it would make it interesting if Morgan got the title shot. You would have a guy challenging Bully Ray who as a representative of TNA against A&8'S, Hogan would have to support him. You would also have an extremely annoyed Sting who wants retribution against Bully Ray by taking the title off him but being unable to do so. TNA is still producing some great shows though. |

I don't think it would. Matt Morgan's terrible. He would be something new in the Main Event no doubt, but he's fairly limited in the ring. His theme music, his ring attire and the cloak are just awful. He's just not a Main Event guy. They need to get new fresh guys into TNA and pushed into prominent positions at the top of the card.
Week after week, the biggest TNA problem is that the company is focused around a 59 year old Hulk Hogan and 54 year old Sting. Bully Ray has done a good job of trying to repackage himself, but I think the average mainstream fan still thinks of him as the midcard Bubba Ray Dudley from the Dudleys Boys. |

Much as I love the guy and his history: "Sting... main event... at a PPV... Noooooooooooo!"
He just doesn't have the cardio and body strength any more and his wrestling style is very similar to Velvet Sky: little jabs (punches) & kicks, weak clotheslines (Stinger splashes). His game is currently 80% acting beat-up, 15% vertical poking out one of his limbs and 5% getting an "amazing" victory". Morgan's come on a long way and while not a main eventer, it would be great to see him given a chance to bring his A game, if only to freshen things up. Knockouts on a roll -- fine match. Good show Sunday. Anything with Aries/Roode rules! Aces & Eights still bore me as the biggest bunch of pansies on the block, clinking their little beer bottles and being so rebellious and dangerous as to have a titled VP of operations etc. like a blooming corporation. It's great to see Bully Ray play the villain again but I do sometimes wish villain-Tazz would just shut the hell up with his childish sniping. |

Another good show for TNA. Very consistent at the moment.
Abyss is back! Great to see that TNA have brought him back. Should definitely make the A&8s vs TNA battle more interesting. Does this mean Chris Park will be playing both Abyss and Joseph Park now in TNA? AJ's storyline progresses. Continues to be intriguing. Have to give credit to Kenny King. After becoming X Division Champion he really has stepped up a level and is great both on the mic and in the ring. Also quite interesting to see where this D-Lo storyline is going. There's a bit of friction within the group and intriguing to see this develop. Also again great Knockout and Tag Team Wrestling. |

At first when they took D-Lo's cut, and he made Doc lose, i thought it was going to be him becoming the new partner for Sting and Angle, to get revenge back on the rest of the A&8s for kicking him out of the club, then doing the old switcheroo in the match, giving the A&8s the win, but then when they all got laid out, and Hogan got that call, it made me think, could be Abyss coming back this
Christy Hemmes pissed at Aries shoving his crotch in her face when she messed up their introductions
