So Josh Matthews can't feign even a little enthusiasm for what's coming up on the show? Not even a little tiny bit.
He's thinking maybe if I beg WWE will take me back Afterburn would be better than this.

Wait, did Tazz just call Kurt Angle subhuman? He knows that's not actually a good thing right?

They're doing a Monsters Ball match on a random Impact for a feud that's still building? What? Why? I just... urgh...

I think the night Lockdown airs is the one to watch if you like Jeff Hardy.

Is it possible WWE sent Josh Matthews to TNA so he could make Michael Cole look like an announcing God?

While the whole Feast Or Fired thing was stupid they if wanted to something like that wouldn't it have made more sense to give Velvet a briefcase with a title shot in it it would still have been stupid but at least they could have built up him trying to get it back from her.

Did you watch last week.

You could hear how bitter he is about WWE going on about how it's not hard to be part of the best announce team around.

Funny thing is even JBL Cole and King are better than whatever it is him and Tazz are doing

Not a fan of that Impact.

- Several really bad spots and mistimings in that Feast or Fired match. Also, pole matches suck.

- The segment with the cases had so many problems. The Velvet swerve was too obvious. Robbie was well out of his acting depth (although you have to say he gave it everything). Aries should have been immediately overjoyed when it became obvious he had a world title shot. At least Spud was good.

- Lots of the Revolution. Which is always a bad thing.

- I hate brawls, unless done exceptionally well. Street fights are even worse. Totally unconvincing and kayfabe destroying.

A few highlights:

- Havok / Kim was Havok's best match so far. Not surprising given Kim's skill.

- JB gave a decent account of himself in the ring for a civilian.

- Aries has a world title shot.

Better luck next week I guess. I'm not keen Monster's Ball so I hope that one exceeds expectations.

Yes and the big interview was just him saying what he has been saying for the past 15 years.

Running through his signature spots and then plugging his site. I wonder if many/any people actually subscribe.

They haven't regularly surpassed 200k viewers since April last year. In fact excluding +1 (and I'm excluding that just because I can't be bothered to check it right now) they haven't surpassed 200k viewers at all since April/May as far as I can see. And looking at a couple of their +1 figures there's only a couple of times since then that +1 might possibly have pushed them over 200k.
January 18th: 121.000 viewers on Challenge. They already lost viewers on week 2 of the DA shows. Not a good sign.

The decline in Challenge viewers is disappointing, especially on the eve of the UK tour.

Weirdly, viewership in the US is doing incredibly well. 517k this week. That's an increase of 130k(!) over the previous week. Could be a blip, of course.
