WWE had four different champions in 2014 and 2013 let alone 2000. Not sure why that's a big deal, nor have I seen much complaint about TNA world title changes.

Did anyone else spot during the knockouts match how the steel steps had been covered with carpet or some sort of material, so when they were doing their spots on them it wasn't quite as impressive, the covering had disappeared by the time the next mens match was on. Other then that I enjoyed impact this week, thought it was the best one since it returned. Don't like Mark Andrews being called Mandrews though!

So the first run ratings were down 86,000 at 431,000 but the replay rating was up by 67,000. Gives January a first run average of 423,500.

Im wondering if she has gone for good, as shes still up on The Knockouts, and shes not in the Alumni.

TNA did have a tweet before The Feast Or Fired match saying whoever got it would really be fired (knocking WWE for only having storyline firings)

As they film so far in advance like what is filming now we won't see for about 4 months I guess we will know soon.

Velvet Sky was on Vince Russo's Swerve podcast on Tuesday night and in the VIP portion she tells all what the deal is with TNA.

If it's like the last 2 who got the fired case that is how she found out that she was legit fired.

I don't know, reading about, some say it was planned as she hadn't re-signed when her contract was running out/up, so not sure if they are re-negotiating, so she'll reappear, or what.

Sounds like a storyline to me 'If you aren't happy then tweet them' sounds a bit fake to me

But then that is what being a wrestling fan does, Makes you cynical

Apparently Havoks not gone, she was given time off for her grandpa dying, and she has permission to work other promotions and the iPPV rule has been dropped.

Nah, but the stuff WWE did well in the 90s is pretty damn good justification. The most popular angles of the past few years (namely Rock/Cena, Summer of Punk, Bryan's path to the title) have all had their roots in Attitude Era booking.

Having 3-4 world champions in a year is pretty normal, that's all I'm saying. I was just puzzled when I saw some people complaining (not necessarily on here) that TNA were hot potatoing their belt, which couldn't be farther from the truth.

I wonder with Velvet going, and Bully Ray showing up at the Rumble, could that be an "in" for her, as I am sure he could and would put in a good word for her.

Plus she tweeted someone asking her, which WWE Diva she would most likely to wrestle, and she replied "all of them", so that I think just adds more fuel to the fire, as that sounds like the start of some sort of storyline to me.

It would be good to see her back on tv, be it TNA or WWE.

Surprised TNA let Velvet Sky go but I think this might be due to them putting more emphasis on wrestling again in the Knockouts division, in ring skills was never Velvets strength, I also wonder if it has anything to do with Bullys departure and the possibility of him returning to WWE full-time.

I don't see WWE having much interest in Velvet, she's getting older, she's weak in the ring and WWE have a ton of younger ladies in NXT who can already wrestle better than her, as said her only in might be if Bully can put in a word with management but it's not like WWE are going to be desperate to secure his services at this stage of his career so I don't think he'd have that kind of stroke.

Apparently the UK shows have been pulling good crowds, hopefully this will be more persuasion for TNA to run a PPV or at least a themed Impact over here.
The Lockdown taping was only standard Impact length, hopefully Destination America will be more flexible in the future and maybe allow TNA to extend these special episodes to three hours.

But they also have a load of divas who are much worse than her in the ring and from what others have said looks to.

Summer Rae- Alicia-Cammeron-The Bellas-Eva Marie-Rosa.

Everyone of them are much worse than she ever was and I'm not even a fan of her and would sooner her not be in WWE.

No it isn't. That was two decades ago now. TNA's complete inability to move past a "stuff that worked in the 90s" booking mentality has continually been their biggest undoing.

The main problem is her age, at 33 that's very old by Diva standards. I agree that the likes of Eva-Marie, Rosa and Cameron are no better than her in the ring but they are still developing in the WWE system, I doubt WWE would want to invest time in a woman who is already past the common retirement age for female wrestlers.
Summer Rae, Alicia and the Bella's I would say are better than Velvet in the ring already.

When as that ever stopped WWE from hiring a diva 95% of them are useless.
